Last episode kind of got me back on track, the second half was really exciting.

The Carl/Rick relationship is one of the most interesting parts of the series at the mo.

As for the "comeback", I don't like him at all but hopefully he will bring some action back. :)

I really disliked the walking dead, but this latest season is amazing!!!

A whole episode for the governor?

The idea was interesting but the result was quite flat in my opinion.

Hopefully we go back to the prison next week.

I really liked it. The pacing was quite slow to begin with, but David Morrisey was excellent. I found myself rooting for The Governor! Madness!!! Next weeks episode is Governor centric again and looks pretty good.

I loved the change in pace, it's brilliant when a TV show can pull off an episode like it let alone the guys to do one.

LOVED what they did with the Governor! VERY NICELY DONE. Was not expecting what he

did to Martinez!

But I'm loving how he was fighting with himself and trying to stop himself from going back into the whole Governor persona, before eventually realising that he is that way.

Yup it was good, but I'm glad we're going back to the prison next week and I hope the governor gets shot soon enough.

Next weeks episode looks brilliant.

A lot of people have criticised the episodes but I really liked them. It gave more depth to the cartoonish villain that he was last season. It showed that he tried to change, but he couldn't. People will always remember him as The Governor, rather than Brian, and he couldn't escape it. And to keep his new family safe he's willing to do anything. Loved all the hidden meanings with water, certainly reminded me a lot of LOST. I can't see The Governor dying yet either. But I'm not sure where is left to go with his character anymore.

So the governor is at the prison gates and a battle is going to ensue... haven't we seen this before, like 3 times already?

I'm quite enjoying this season but I do feel like there isn't much of a driving force with the plot. There doesn't seem to be any unifying thread this season and it kind of feels like a soap: Living with Zombies.

Got to say I haven't been too fussed on the last two episodes, the lack of Michonne has killed me. But next weeks episode looks epic! I just need to see the Governor get butchered by Michonne!

This. That's my main problem with this season. Like I said it is turning into a social documentary sometimes, with not much happening or no driving force.

The characters are still as exciting as before but the plots are just boring and doesn't cover more than one or two episodes until they switch to something else. Like Michone for example, she has such huge potential as a character but she wasn't given the opportunity to show it.

The whole disease in the prison thing was boring to death, they were dying one after another, until oh, they bring new drugs and they kill the pigs. GREAT.

I've personally found this season the best so far. Every episode has been top notch.

The episodes are back to begin character driven. I think the problem was (and obviously why Glen Mazza) was fired, was the prison element is such an iconic part of the series, that they felt they didn't do it justice. Still being at the prison isn't even that much of an issue for me. It explores the reality that would come with a mass epidemic and human struggle.

Throughout the series, the only episode I've really been disappointed with was the Season 3 finale. It teased so much, but so little happened. Now it looks like it will happen. Either the prison will be destroyed or The Governor will take it.

They've been content to live at the prison so far, and why wouldn't they, and of course the only major plot has been the flu virus spread. But there's been the Carol sub story that will surely have greater effect later in the season.

I like this season more than Season 3 so far. Can't say I love it but it has less fillers than last season had.

OMG! Such an emotional episode!

and THAT scene! :o

Bloody hell 4x08 was AMAZING! This is how Season 3 finale should have been, to be honest. Definitely my favourite Walking Dead episode and this is coming from someone who finds the show pretty average.
Still i am searching all necessary details on net about this... anyone have anything...

As in what happens in the episode?

Brilliant episode. I did call

Hershel dying a few weeks ago though

:( Some of my friends have been talking about rumours they'd heard

(about Rick)

and my heart stopped when I thought those rumours were going to be true! Genuinely thought

Rick was a gonner at some point! And thought Michonne would be slightly too late.

Thankfully not!

Very edge on seat episode! I didn't see them killing off

the girl and Judith though!

Also, how CRAP is their aim? LOL
