October 15, 201311 yr Author I didn't take the noise into account, it kinda makes more sense now, though still they must be very unlucky to get to the supermarket a moment before it all happened.Erm... they made the noise so of course it was going to happen whilst they were there... :heehee:
October 15, 201311 yr Erm... they made the noise so of course it was going to happen whilst they were there... :heehee: I thought you meant the noise the first walker made when it fell. Would zombies actually follow sounds coming from downstairs? They're supposed to be dumb.
October 18, 201311 yr Great opener to the series, actually I saw that coming with the Zombies on top of the supermarket, I just knew somehow they crash through. And what was in that bag there was something moving, when that woman freaked Rick out.
October 18, 201311 yr Great opener to the series, actually I saw that coming with the Zombies on top of the supermarket, I just knew somehow they crash through. And what was in that bag there was something moving, when that woman freaked Rick out. I thought it was just the woman's boyfriend Eddie (or what was left of him). I took the fact that Rick wasn't even curious enough to look was further illustration of how indifferent he'd become to his/their predicament. I've used the word indifferent but I don't quite mean indifference as he still cares and wants to protect the group - but he no longer gives a shit about anything outside of it. I thought the first episode was OK but no more than that. I'm really getting annoyed at the mumbling that passes for speech from Norman Reedus - the guy should stop the smokes as before long you won't be able to make out a solitary word he says.
October 18, 201311 yr Thought it was a fine first episode, besides the supermarket scene which def real intense and good. But I think it sets up the stage nicely. I hope they don't stay too long in the prison, itching for some new scenery though it is kind of nice to see them existing in everyday life.
October 21, 201311 yr Another brilliant episode but I'm not 100% sure if I'm going to like the direction this is going through.
October 21, 201311 yr I still have to watch the 2nd episode, but I pretty much enjoyed the first one, basically because I missed Rick so much in my life  I hope the storyline is renewed soon though cause the life in the prison is getting quite BORING.
October 22, 201311 yr Author HOLY CRAP the Zombie deaths in this episode were fantastic! ESPECIALLY the guts falling out of that guy & the one that got crushed by the fence! INSANE. Does anyone watch "The Talking Dead"? They showed a clip of next weeks episode and HOLY CRAP (2).
October 22, 201311 yr Does anyone watch "The Talking Dead"? They showed a clip of next weeks episode and HOLY CRAP (2). You mean this one? Wow. -j7wSFYD2PY
October 22, 201311 yr Author YES! Reminds me of the (incredible) opening scene to '28 Weeks Later'! Scary stuff!
October 22, 201311 yr I preferred the opening episode. Loved the ending though! I hope it is two separate people, for the person that feeds the walkers, and the person that burned the bodies. I want to say that the new girls introduced were just red herrings. I do hope it was Carl that burned the bodies though.
October 22, 201311 yr I'm loving Carol getting lots more airtime  can see losing Sophia has really affected her now.
October 29, 201311 yr WOW was not expecting that, surely an absolutely massive character arc for Carol coming now. I thought army medic was being set up to be the killer. Can't imagine Tyreese will be too happy when he finds out.
October 29, 201311 yr Judging by the next episode preview things seem normal again with Carol, I hope she doesn't end up getting killed off this season she's really coming into her own now
October 29, 201311 yr Glenn can't die :( Surely they will figure something out before he does? I'd be surprised if he died. They will get the antibiotics back for sure, just I'm sure 2/3rds of the people sick will die before that. Judging by the next episode preview things seem normal again with Carol, I hope she doesn't end up getting killed off this season she's really coming into her own now There is absolutely no chance that the revelations about her killing Karen and David won't come out at some point. It's a moral dilemma for everyone - she does so much good for the group, but she's also just murdered two people in cold blood.
October 29, 201311 yr It kills me to say but I'm afraid this new season is not for me. I'm not as excited about the show as I once was and I'm just so bloody tired of the prison. Wish they would go on the road again but it won't happen, it's turning into a social documentary about life in a small community.

Wish they would go on the road again but it won't happen, it's turning into a social documentary about life in a small community. They won't be in the Prison too much longer. Hershel hinted at it, that they're actually safer not living on top of each other. I find the flu virus very accurate, as it is what would happen. There's all the fallout to come from what has been revealed too. As soon as The Governor (which was again hinted at in the last episode) shows up I imagine they'll be off again.
October 29, 201311 yr I don't see the problem people have with them still being at the prison! I can tell everything is going to go wrong at the prison by mid season finale, maybe even sooner.
October 29, 201311 yr Author Yeah! I don't get the problem with the prison either. I'm really loving it and have loved it since they got to the prison. I agree with the whole flu symptom scenario also. They've really upped the game this season and I'm looking forward to seeing them as a small(er) group again. Wasn't expecting it to be Carol though! But yay for some development for her, finally! The random guy that went with Daryl, Michonne and Tyreese, there's something not right about him. I feel he has something to do with the Governor and I think it was him feeding the zombies in episode 2. I'm probably wrong, but he just doesn't sit right with me and I feel he can't be trusted.
