Atonement is such a flop.

Said the pot to the kettle :D

The Top 10 must be bloody fantastic if so many brilliant songs are just missing out - 'Family Portrait' and 'Leave Me Alone' are two of my favourites from P!nk's discography, both should have done better in the charts than they did.
I really hope 'Trouble' isn't next up. If it is part of the tie at #11/#10 then I'm going to pretend it was the highest of the two.

What POSSIBLE reason do I have for Trouble to be crowned winner?

O HAI JEREMY RENNER.

Things seem to be slotting in the correct positions now. Family Portrait is decent, but I can't say I really listen to it that often, with the same going for Leave Me Alone. Nobody Knows is rather underrated, and maybe Stupid Girls should be a bit higher.

Blow Me was exactly what I didn't want from a lead Pink single though. Completely pointless in a world where So What and Raise Your Glass also exist, and taking Pink-by-numbers to a whole new ridiculous territory.

Tbh the whole The Truth About Love era has just been a complete shadow of her past hits. Actually, even just comparing it to Funhouse, there are undeniable similarities - 'Blow Me' is obviously just 'So What', 'Try' is the MOR guitar-led follow-up just like 'Sober', 'True Love' completely rips off 'Please Don't Leave Me' (and 'Leave Me Alone') in terms of subject matter (dysfunctional relationships) and 'Just Give Me A Reason' is the vulnerable single of the album like 'I Don't Believe You' was. It's just a tried-and-tested formula being repeated again and again and that's why I prefer early-mid 00s Pink who had a lot of originality back then.

Family Portrait  Definitly one of my P!nk faves.

11/10 | Just Give Me A Reason (feat. Nate Ruess)/ Fuckin' Perfect

Average Score: 7.7
Highest Scores: (JGMAR) 11 (Eyes) 10 (Regina) (FP) 11 (Regina, O Mie) 10 (Lukuzz, *tim)
Lowest Scores: (JGMAR) 2 (Cal) 5 (Atonement, O Mie, Jack, leww) (FP) -1 (Jack) 1 (Atonement)

UK Peak: (JGMAR) #2 (FP) #10 US Peak: (JGMAR) #1 (FP) #2

What a flawless example of perfection JGL is.
Third and final tie. Perfect received more 11's so it ends up higher and therefore takes its place in the top 10.
Just Give Me A Reason is the 3rd single from The Truth About Love and features the sexual lead singer from fun. This was a massive hit, becoming her
best selling single here in the UK and one of her biggest singles WW. Certainly one of the best from the new album.
Perfect was the second and last single released to promote Greatest Hits...So Far!!! and was just as successful as RYG, peaking higher than it in some places.
One of her very best songs, it has a good message and amazing vocals, especially on the clean edit.
Not even did I not vote but I also missed 7 pages of results :( Anyway it's a crime that True Love, Blow Me and God Is a DJ are not top 5, but I agree with the rest of the results.
I can't even at those two not being top 10... Especially Just Give Me A Reason, although that's actually higher than I thought given the baffling hate mob for it :(

I got over Just Give Me A Reason fairly quickly. Not sure if it was because of the overplaying, but it happened with Try too and i can barely listen to either now.

Stupid Girls out already though :(

I think i have to agree with this unfortunately. I was obsessed with the Funhouse era, whereas this one has mostly been a watered down version of what came then.

Perfect didn't miss the top 10 :smoke:

Again, two more of her best. I did get bored of 'Just Give Me a Reason' when it got overplayed, but I loved it at the time and I'm quite sure I'll love it just as much again. Out of the two, I'm happy 'F*ckin' Perfect' made the Top 10 instead. Just like 'Family Portrait' - hey, same initials! - it is one which many teenagers can relate to. The video has to be her very best, quite hard to watch when the girl carves "perfect" into her arm - I've got a friend who has done a similar thing. I hate version of the song which cuts out the big note towards the end; it's more anti-climatic without it. :(

So we have 9 songs left folkies. They are

Don't Let Me Get Me

Just Like A Pill

Please Don't Leave Me

Sober

So What

Trouble (feat. Jeremy Renner)

Try

U + Ur Hand

Who Knew

Predictions?

09 U + Ur Hand

08 Trouble

07 Don't Let Me Get Me

06 Please Don't Leave Me

05 Try

04 So What

03 Sober

02 Just Like A Pill

01 Who Knew

please. I think it's between Just Like A Pill and So What, both of which would be great winners! Brilliant top 10 actually, with the exception of U + Ur Hand which you'll all know by now I don't like much and Trouble which I never really liked a terrible amount (although it's good).

I'm happy with those songs being in the Top 10. I haven't a clue who could be number one and there is nothing there I wouldn't like to see at number one (I suppose 'Trouble' would be the one I'd least like to see there - sorry Regina!). Ooh it's really hard to choose what I want to win! There's songs there like 'Don't Let Me Get Me', 'Sober' and 'Please Don't Leave Me' which I like twice as much as I thought I did when I actually listen to them.

'So What' would be the obvious choice of winning, although I don't think Buzzjack would choose that as their favourite. I'd like to see 'U + Ur Hand' and 'Who Knew' in the Top 5 - I think the latter will definitely be there.
