It was played 6 times in the last 30 days, there is something not working. It has been playlisted for more than a week and half now. Add to that the first two plays were already there 3 weeks ago and you kinda wonder what they are doing right now.

Capital LOVE Disco Love they are always saying 'That Brand New Sats track up soon' or 'The Saturday's best song' or 'That Massive Sats tune up next'

Radio 1 usually play The Sats quite a bit to be fair usually 30+ times before release Disco Love is BY FAR the least played Sats song.

HOLIDAYS.

No I meant the guys at Radio 1.

But yeah, the girls are on holydays, bar Mollie who is still working and travelling with Peter. When will your fave in the band? So much committment. :cheer:

It's only had 4 days of radio 1 playlist so far. I expect next Wednesday to see it move to b list and then a list the week after. I still think a Top 5 position is achievable.
I'm rooting for a #6!! With Katy Perry, Jason Derulo, One Republic, Miley, and Eminem all in their path it was a tough week to release in!!

My predictions for the week it's released:

1. Miley Cyrus - Wrecking Ball

2. Conor Maynard - R U Crazy?

3. Katy Perry - Roar

4. Jason Derulo Ft. 2 Chainz - Talk Dirty

5. Eminen - Berzerk

6. The Saturdays - Disco Love

7. OneRepublic - Counting Stars

8. John Newman - Cheating

9. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Ft. Mary Lambert - Same Love

10. Avicii - You Make Me

I'd probably put John Newman a bit higher and provably 'Counting Stars' too (putting the girls at #8), but aside from that I agree with all of it.

I will never understand those of you who, release after release, wish for a #6 peak. That is not good! Yeah it would be funny to have their singles peak everywhere in the Top 10, but that is not going to do anything for them. I'll take Top 5, please and thanks <_<
I love Not Giving Up so much. I think it might be my favorite song of theirs actually. I can't wait to hear a proper final chorus with some ad-libs.

6 WOULD BE A MIRACLE RIGHT NOW.

I hope they perform some new tracks from the album, along with DL, @ SD2 fest.
Acoustic performances of Somebody Else's Life, What About Us, Gentleman, 30 Days and Disco Love. There you go. #TypicalSaturdays

TBF...it's the Sats own fault. Why go on Holiday 2 weeks before release of a single that's fronting an album?!?

They did one performance on Stepping Out and clearly the rehersals were too tiring :D

They should have gone round the Radio's this week.

you cant just invite yourself round radios man... they are not hot property after Gentleman and as said before, the reason they are still around is they dont overpush themselves like 1D, Spice Girls etc.

the song isn't out for another 10 days, getting airplay on stations that matter like Capital, doing OK on pre-orders, the album is looking to be better recieved than OYR and all thats on here is moan groan moan!

Maybe because they have potential to be f***ing massive in the UK and yet do the bare minimum to promote their awful single choices? I'm not surprised everyone is frustrated with them. They have a single and album out soon (an album they've worked on for two years) and they're outside the top 400 on iTunes. Radio 1 are barely supporting them and you just know they'll do a few TV shows and then when the album flops, abandon it once again and go on more holidays. They haven't even announced any signings or anything!

The childish positivity is what annoys me. You're not allowed to be critical of the girls at all (no matter how lazy they are) or we'll have someone like you whining that 'all everyone does is moan! give them a chance etc'. Yes, Capital are supporting them and that's great but jeez, are you really thrilled that the album may outsell On Your Radar?

That is such a childish view. They are lazy at times, Peter seems like a real push over, Everyone they are surrounded by are they're friends so they seem to let a few things slide when really they should be pushed now and again.

Going on Holiday before a single/album release is RIDICULOUS! Perhaps they can't get on radio's but they should at least be trying other methods!

The album had momentum when the previewed the tracks and Capital support grew the album was at #280 I'm sure they could have done something extra promo wise - They arn't even Tweeting/Facebooking about it much - 'If you love the previews pre order now' etc etc....

YAWN..I don't want to be negative but as a fan it does seem like they are lazy at times, couldn't they have a break after the album/single for a couple of weeks? Unless they have plans for the next month to continue promotion?? Perhaps they are going to film the new video in November and actually do a proper album campaign? Here's hoping!!

The girls seem to try different strategies...When Mollie travels to France and US for business, it won't be good, if the other girls do something without here at homeland. At this point, i remember Una saying somewhere, that there are 1000s of album copies waiting to be signed. So atleast they are not lazy and doing something worthwhile, not wasting time. Expecting them to do beyond their capacity is not good. Managing their babies and coming this far itself is well appreciated ! Does anyone know if they are really lazy? Reading these comments would sure put them down. At this point we should do our best to promote it...to friends, co workers, freaking radio requests and what we can, instead of squarely blaming them.( No self appreciation here...but i spammed What about us, to around 500+ radio stations around the world, posting on their walls, requesting DJs to listen and review....outcome - my FB acct was blocked from posting on others' walls for more than a month. There is a fan from Armenia on you tube, who is doing 100+ clicks a day over Disco Love., etc))

Could y'all please share what you are doing from your end, apart from preordering?

This is again Ridiculous...It shouldn't up to us fans to promote them! We buy there music and keep them going!

I remember one time on Chasing The Saturdays Peter tried to talk to them about work and they kept yawning and joking for him to go away and leave them to sunbathe. I know the show was half scripted and they were only joking but it really wouldn't surprise me if that was their attitude at all times. Could you imagine them ever saying "Peter, I'm a bit worried the album will flop again. Could you book us in for some album signings and try get us into some more radio station interviews?" No chance.
