U2 is still trying to remain relevant in the face of competition from the likes of Adele, Coldplay, Taylor Swift, One Direction, Justin Bieber, etc.

Bono and the gang experimented with techno-pop some years ago; then added a grungy Progressive-Rock sound, with songs like Vertigo, this century's 1st decade. They joined forces with the hiphop group, Black Eyed Peas for some live performances. What's next for them? Autotune vocals? Dubstep? Sampling dance mix?
