If Lloyds or Birdy had some coorilation with Cowell it'd be a contender.

This is stunning, I kind of overlooked it at the time (fleeting low top 30 hit in my chart iirc) but it being on the advert quite a bit is making me want to listen to it a lot and I'm loving it more than ever!

 

This sounds a bit subdued to be a winner's single, but it's a bit like Skyscraper's fragility (although that really builds throughout) and that didn't Sam Bailey foghorning (yes that's a verb x) all over the whole song and sucking all emotion from it.

I liked it when it came out but I really adore this now in it's second wind. Will probably live up to my initial belief of it being designed as an X Factor backdrop for real now.

I've been LOVING this hard since it came out so yay at it getting a chance to be a proper hit. Yet more proof that people are READY for so much better music in the charts if only they had a chance to notice it.

What's with iTunes making the song album-only on every album it appears on?

Well I can't claim to be an iWorker but I'd suggest it's extremely likely that they're ensuring everyone is downloading the same version so that the sales are concentrated into the single rather than two dozen compilation tracks all featuring lower down the iTunes chart.

 

 

 

...also while I'm in this thread, I'm finding myself not hating this new acoustic version. I always sort of liked the track but it bugged me that it was such a rip off of 'Run' at the time.

Finally after almost a decade the Nu:Logic remix is out later tonight. Drum & Bass really works well on this track

 

Wings worked wonderfully on Strictly tonight.

The dance and setting greatly complemented the song.
