Umi is a bitch so it's fun to make fun of Umi. Is that a good enough reason?

I'M BEING SUCH A GINA RIGHT NOW. EVERYONE SHOULD LIKE ME

Oh okay, I withdraw my comment then.

What's the second one though? :o First one must be Mandarin, right?

No, Cantonese is first followed by Mandarin and then English. I was initially planning to make Russian my fourth but then it's too hard thus gave up and currently I'm eyeing on Korean taking its place instead :D.

WUT?!

I'm already struggling with my first language Dutch even more with my second English

Learning russian is okay if you ever plan on visiting this hole. Oh and sometimes to impress tourists if you live and work in a tourist hot spot haha. So it was a good call.

Korean is fab yeah. What about Japanese though? A lot of hieroglyphs are already in Mandarin, and albeit pronounced differently, there's still advantage. I'm feeling a massive déjà vu here. We must've discussed that before. :D

I'd recommend you Arabic as well. Most fabulous alphabet EVER <3

Learning languages when you're small really helps because it.....just gets stuck in your head. Nowadays learning a new language is literally impossible to master.

Plus Chinese is easy to learn. ^_^

I thought I had this talk with you before Pav that I've visited St. Petersburg and Moscow before. Returned to and from each city via these small smashed trains. Loved it there and would revisit Russia if I were given a second chance to!

Japanese is an annoying one considering they STOLE HALF OF OUR LANGUAGE so yes I bare a grudge on them for that. I basically know half of the words in Japanese and I did have it done as my 5th/6th language to learn.

My auntie's husband is actually from Pakistan and he frequently visits these Arabic websites. It's a fascinating language but sadly I don't have anything to connect the language to (e.g. Korean/Japanese for the music, Russian for 'economic benefits' as my teacher would inform me from before).

I wouldn't say IMPOSSIBLE. But yeah it's really hard to become as fluent in your second language as in your mother tongue when you're older.

Chinese grammar is easy but pronunciation is a nightmare. Like with Danish. Although once you master that it shouldn't be a problem, I assume.

Indeed.

I'll try and search for your name on Facebook once I return back from China as Facebook is blocked there along with a billion of other sites!

(or just PM me your Facebook link thx)

I didn't realise you were in China right now.

China is so silly with this banning thing.

It's communist, and you think living in Russia is such a burden. Try living here. :D
I know there are countries in a much worse state I just like a bit of hyperbole.
