Posted August 16, 201311 yr I'm not usually a fan of this band, but all the singles from Beacon were great so this is a preview of their next release! Radio 1 had the first play of this last night from their new EP of the same name! There seems to be a trend of indie acts incorporating elements of dance music and this track has been produced by Madeon so it will be interesting to see how well this will do: mOHWZmREuvA I think this could give them their first big hit, maybe a potential top 20 hit??!! What do you guys think??
August 16, 201311 yr My first thought is that it sounds over-produced. Maybe I'll change my mind after hearing it a few more times.
August 16, 201311 yr This is most definitely the sound of a band who want their first top 40 hit. I see they're now on Parlophone rather than the ultra-hip Kitsuné label, which explains the more pop-orientated sound.

August 16, 201311 yr Listening to it for the first time, it does sound a tad overproduced. However, it could easily have been a track on 'Beacon'. Two Door Cinema Club are a class band, and even better live. Both albums have been great to listen to from start to finish, so I've no doubt that the next'll be great too. Could it give them their highest charting single? I think so. Don't they deserve a T40 to their name; having lost out on the #1 album to The Vaccines (who already have T40 hits).
August 30, 201311 yr Shocked at this, it's so poppy. Sort of reminds me of when Keane suddenly came out with Spiralling.
