You see - some people care for their artistry rather than anything else. I love B for spicing it up.

 

You do realise one could argue otherwise too considering the shock value that has come with this.

While it's obviously an original and probably clever way to put an album out, it's not a marketing-free strategy.

They do it different, it doesn't mean they don't have a plan in the back of their mind to sell it and make $$$.

 

As it's been said, the shock value of this release will create a lot of buzz and that's what they were aiming for, if not they wouldn't have bought every single possible bit of Itunes advertising for the day of its release.

Plus apparently, they are sending two big singles to radios next week. So it's not really a case of "caring for their artistry rathen than anything else".

Why is Beyonce's new one not in the album charts?

Can't work out if Beyonce's album is nowhere to be seen because of an error, or if she's just selling pitifully little...

I highly doubt it as her tour sold out in no time

What a non-shock! I knew it was just an error when she couldn't be seen earlier in the day, I imagine it'll be selling lots over the next few weeks

Basically any artist "could nevah".

 

Although the "anticipation" for her album has been high for months now, and every blog/website/human being is talking about it today, so I'm sure it's gonna sell a fair amount straight away.

I wonder if she'll then promote it properly to give it some longevity.

 

Tori Amos released Abnormally Attracted to Sin 4 and a half years ago and it had a 'visualette' (video) for every song on the album.

I can't wait to see all of BuzzJack declaring 'BEYONCÉ' to be incredibly pretentious like they did with 'Yeezus'!
