I'm not sure which part of my post you're replying to. But I do love 'Cool Like Me' although sadly not as much as I WANT to love it which has cost it slightly in such a high quality final. So kinda oops on that too.

VOTED. Quite a good final I must say and picked a lot of gems from Semi 1 as opposed to the rubbish Semi 2 I was in.

Not sure I'd use the terms above, but I'd observe it seems to sometimes be the default position to opt for generic dance which stretches the description of "Song" in the Buzzjack Song Contest a tad on occasion. Still, if that's what people like, it makes voting a little easier for me, I whittled it down to 14 songs I want to give votes to, with a bias towards semi1. The bad news is 4 songs will have to lose out, doh!

 

 

I've enjoyed BJSC a lot more since it started being dominated by dance songs, although because there are so many of them these days there are bound to be a few duds. (I actually only dislike 2 songs in the entire final this time though and only one of them could be described as 'dance', this is definitely one of the strongest contests I've ever been in despite people apparently struggling to find good entries).

I voted the other day and found the Semi 2 qualifiers to be a lot better/more interesting, I was actually left with 12 songs that I wanted to vote for so my votes were given a bit of a shake up. "Roo" is genuinely quite decent too, it's far from being the worst thing in the final. :(

My votes will probably be in by tonight, got my 10 tracks just a case of placing them, I was practically loyal to my own semi, I found a few crackers from Semi 1. Marnie :wub:

Seriously difficult finding my 10, there are 16 I could easily give points to, and about 12 that are deserved of a heap of points.

It was the only final so far that I've struggled to get down to 10 songs. Every other final I've had to add one on at the end because I've only really wanted to vote for 8-9 of them.
