If you thought the original version of Flaws was good, try this stunning version with a string section

There's not many songs that couldn't be improved (or at least be just as good) by adding strings to them. Perhaps Teenage Kicks at a stretch.

This version of Flaws is lovely indeed.

You know, Teenage Kicks with strings just might work :o

I've always been a bit of a sucker for a good string arrangement. It's no coincidence that Still Life is my favourite Suede song.

It's not just the string arrangement that's great, it's the fact that they got a flippin' 72 piece orchestra to back them up on it. The orchestral version on the Dog Man Star Deluxe version stands up incredibly strongly, I'd love to see BBC's Proms do a version of it at some point.

Strings are amazing. I once made a whole compilation of indie songs with lost of strings on them. I ended it with Still Life.

This just goes to show you can polish a turd.

Still an absolute abhorrent pile of rubbish.

No Bitter Sweet Symphony? Some great songs in that list including the aptly titled Glorious and, obviously, Yes.
