Posted September 6, 201311 yr http://edgepublicity.co.uk/press_release/m...-uk-tour-dates/ Mutya Keisha Siobhan have announced details of a UK tour to take place this November. The original Sugababes trio played their first headline show in over 12 years at London’s Scala last month. During the critically acclaimed show, which sold out in under fifteen minutes, the girls debuted new material from their highly-anticipated album, scheduled for release early next year. The Guardian declared the show the “triumphant comeback of one of Britain’s finest pop groups”, while The Independent described it as “thrilling and emotional”. The Telegraph added that the show was a “meaty taster [which] will have only deepened the anticipation” for the album. Kicking off in Norwich on November 8th, the tour includes dates in Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham before finishing at London’s O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire. Tickets go on sale on Friday, September 13th at 9am. Fan pre-sale begins Wednesday, September 11th at 9am. Fans can sign up to the official mailing list to be sent a pre-sale link on Wednesday – http://po.st/MKSpresale November 8 UEA, Norwich 10 O2 ABC, Glasgow 11 The Ritz, Manchester 13 O2 Academy, Bristol 14 The Institute, Birmingham 15 O2 Shepherds Bush Empire, London SO sad the LDN one couldn't happen on 15 OCTOBER :'(
September 6, 201311 yr Anyone know what the ticket price is likely to be? £19.50 in London, £17.50 on the rest of the dates. There'll be meet and greets type of tickets too that'll be a bit more expensive - I think you might have to sign up to their mailing list to get those though. Edited September 6, 201311 yr by tommie
September 7, 201311 yr I think it's a warm-up tour so they won't add any more (unless it's all sold-out in like a day). I wish a EUROPEAN one next year, won't be able to fly to UK in November. :(
September 7, 201311 yr I think they'll tour again after the album is out and take in more dates/festivals.
September 7, 201311 yr I think they'll tour again after the album is out and take in more dates/festivals. I think so too. It's obvious the Scala gig was just to test the waters - I think this is the same thing. If all goes well, we'll probably see them doing slightly bigger venues next spring. I think they're keen to build themselves up as a touring act, as it's where you make money these days.
September 7, 201311 yr These Venues are all a step up in size from Scala, apart from maybe UEA (not sure about the size of the Uni). The O2 ABC in Glasgow and Shepherds Bush in London are both much bigger in size than Scala so if they can sell those out also I think we could be looking at a gradual scale up here. I think it'll be a couple of year before we're talking arenas but I can see them trying one at some point in the next 2 years as a tester.
September 7, 201311 yr I have a belief that all these dates will sell well too. And I'm sure they'll tour more next year too. But don't stick to UK only pleaseee!! Basically I can fly to any of European country any day but UK isn't in the bloody Schengen Area and I'll need to apply for a visa. So fingers crossed for Germany and Netherlands at very least!
