Not that anyone cares/couldn't see it coming a mile off but AMC have once again cancelled The Killing.

How amazing would it be if it got uncancelled for the 2nd time?
I watched the pilot and wasn't really keen on it even though it got rave reviews, so I didn't bother watching the rest.
The X Factor opened with a new series low pulling a 2.1, beaten by Big Brother in the timeslot and the Masterchef finale grew from it :D!

Oh LOL

It really MUST be dead this time, that way Simon can come back to the UK version full time and Gary can BORE OFF our screens forever.

Oh SHIT. Either we're in for a season were 2.0 is the new 3.0 or Fox is going to be shipping the X Factor to Friday and Saturday....

I can't see it staying if that's all it can pull at premiere.

X Factor landed a 2.2 on Thursday, the same as a repeat of Big Bang Theory. The Big Bang repeat got a higher share at 8 vs 7.

It was also beaten by Big Brother again. If I were Kevin Reily I'd be very concerned.

New shows are starting and old ones are resuming *.* So not used to seeing that after the entire summer of downloading like 2 episodes per week.

Anyone else seen the new shows? I give my thumbs up to Sleepy Hollow, the mythology seems like it should be interesting as long as it doesn't get too complicated and the two leads are very good together. Hopefully the limited run keeps the storytelling tight and easy to stick with until winter.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine was mostly good too, some good supporting players but I LOVE Andy Samberg.

Anyone curious about Witches Of East End? Looks like it may be an updated version of Charmed

Well they took long enough deciding this.

Yes! I saw the advert the other day and immediately added it to my TV schedule. I just love witches, I don't even care if the programme is terrible!

I love Charmed, but like with Devious Maids I'll wait a bit. I don't trust Lifetime one iota.

In other news: the US remake of Broen has been renewed; Hoarders has been killed; Guy Code on MTV has been renewed; NBC has just ordered a script of a US remake of the Danish Show Lærevej (Park Road); After failing with NCIS:Red, CBS aren't giving up and this years CBS back-door Pilot will be NCIS:New Orleans and will spin out like NICS:LA did as a double episode from NCIS rather than be a spin off of the spin off of the spin off (NCIS after all is a spin off from JAG); King & Maxwell has been axed by TNT; BBC America's Copper is dead but may live on as a film; Rumour has it that Marvel is working on another TV series this time called 'Agent Carter'. Based on the one shot on the Iron Man 3 Blu-ray it'll focus on Captain America's girlfriend's career as a budding agent after Cap is frozen. Item 47 on the Avengers DVD lead us to Agent of SHEILD so it could come to fruition.

There also is a lot of other pilot-y things happening for 14/15. God I love the TV Industry.

FOX are developing Gotham too, to focus on Commissioner Gordon before he met Batman. Can imagine that will fly straight through to pilot, especially if they get someone lke Nolan on board to executive produce.
