I think it'll be fine with 22 episode, it has an element of serialisation but really I see it as quite similar to PoI (not in terms of actual storyline obv but just in terms of the way it balances the procedural aspects of the show with the underlying mystery stuff too).

For sure! I get a huge PoI vibe from the show. I'm starting to prefer shorter seasons, especially for quality drama's as it keeps that quality higher than a 22 episode season tends to allow. (Oh hai filler episodes)

Oh I'm all about shorter seasons too, it also means NO BREAKS. Though at least ABC have dealt with that having 2 11 episode blocks for their drama's this season. Very few shows can run a 22 episode season within having at least 3/4 dud episodes. To be honest the only one I can think of right now is The Good Wife and I'm more than a little biased when it comes to that.
Welcome To The Family adjusted down to a 1.1. LOL
The Tomorrow People was actually quite good. Going to keep watching.

I totally missed this news, has it been posted? Nikita season 4 premieres Nov 22.

"Nikita will wrap up her mission with a final six-episode run beginning Friday, November 22, 9:00-10:00 pm ET on The CW, airing over six straight weeks."

I love how they're ending on an episode called "Cancelled". A term used in the show but incredibly fitting in this situation. :D

I enjoyed The Tomorrow People, could fill the void that Nikita is soon to leave.

Ludicrous

EDIT: Six more SCRIPTS, but that means they are considering more episodes, which again is LUDICROUS given the piss poor ratings

The CW have also ordered 3 more scripts for The Originals, The Tomorrow People and Reign. The Originals is pretty much a no brainer for a full season, TTP will probably get one too. Reign is an unknown quantity obv.
Fox has cut the episode order for "Us & Them" down to six and the animated "Murder Police" was pulled altogether the other day so they're in a clear spot of bother with their comedies..
So I saw the Witches of East End pilot, and I really enjoyed it. Yes, its cheesy at times, and the special effects are iffy, but so was Charmed and I was a big fan. Thr story Charmed vibe is there (even the house is the same), and there are several interesting plots mentioned so far that can carry throughout the season. It left me anxious for the next episode, which is always a plus

You've just described all my thoughts and feelings about the pilot. I used to absolutely adore Charmed, so I'm glad this is on. Fills a little gap.

Just about the watch The Crazy Ones. I've heard good things about it.

Yeah it's good, especially Robin and James Wolk's chemistry. SMG is a bit rabbit in the headlights though.

Charmed you say?

Not a surprising announcement but Glee will finish after Series 6.
No surprise but I am a tad disappointed as I still find it enjoyable. No doubt it will end with Rachel singing as stage curtains close.
