Witches Of East End has been renewed for a 13 episode second season by Lifetime. It's UTTER SHIT (literally every aspect, badly acted/directed/written) but I can't help but love it all the same.

Yay! And I know, I feel the exact same. It's so bad but I love it!

Hannibal S2 premieres February 28th. Moved to Friday's now, which should hopefully be good for it if it can hold at similar ratings.

How I Met Your Mother has also had a date set - ending on March 31! Surprised it's so soon rather than the usual May.

2 Broke Girls moving up another half hour to take the slot after, Friends with Better Lives @ 8:30 (after a preview following the one hour HIMYM finale)

I'm surprised with HIMYM ending in March it isn't doing a Friends and having a shorter final season. Glad it will have 24 episodes to finish off.
Well no point in wasting sweeps on something that's dead at the end of the year.

That happens all the time. :P Instead they'll experience lower ratings during sweeps as a result of not having their 2nd biggest comedy airing!

But it's good news for the fans as it'll only need to break during the Olympics.

does anyone know if The Carrie Diaries & Hart of Dixie are looking likely for renewal?

The former is pretty much 100% dead, abysmal ratings, even for The CW, and only 26 episodes across 2 seasons. Hart will be renewed for Syndication reasons.

ABC have removed The Assets from their schedule, it's not really a cancellation as it was technically a ''limited event series'', but yeah. No word on when/if the remaining episodes will air, but either way a 0.7 followed by a 0.6 is dire.

I thought "limited" refered to the number of episodes in the season rather than being limited too one season, as if it was very sucsessful, they wouldn't end it after season 1.

It was called a mini-series. And yes if it was successful it would have been renewed.

Oh of course, but still its a case of covering themselves if it fails, allowing room for a renewal if not.

Bones is a lock for season 10, which the head of Fox is expecting to be it's last.

Worst day EVAH.

Well they need to start doing something differently.

Their aim is year round original programming. If that means more things like Sleepy Hollow (short season, bloody excellent) then I'm all for it. Just gutted that it brings with it the end of one of my favourite shows that's still rating so well.

All shows need to come to an end eventually though, I mean look how many shows make it to 10 seasons as it is.

I expect they'll do a lot more limited series. Especially if 24 and Gang Related do well. I could see the other networks possibly following suit if it works. Cable is stomping all over the networks other than CBS.
