I'm going to keep me mouth shut concerning the Obamas....

Went to me doctor Tuesday last week for something that was causing me some considerable pain, for which he admitted me straightaway to hospital. Had a sebaceous cyst on the upper part of me right hip that decided to go all abscess on me, causing the hospitalization. Had the abscess drained Thursday last week, and now have a nice big open wound where it was, since they want it to drain and heal from the inside out. Was discharged from hospital on Monday, and now just trying to heal up at home, along with taking some meds to make sure there's no more infection....

Thanks, Tess...wouldn't wish this on anyone, what I've been dealing with since the beginning of the month...the surgeon said it was a 6 cm abscess, and deep.....am feeling better, still sore from it all, which is to be expected, the soreness....

My throat is killing me :snif:

Have you tried gargling with warm salt water? Personally, I gargle with hydrogen peroxide when I feel a sore throat coming on....

BTW.. someone posted an ad on here in the past few days, in fact they opened up a new thread , i reprted it & it has now been taken down. We have no official mod at the mo for the RW thread but if you see any posts that you do not like just look at the bottom left hand side of the posting & you will see a report tab, if you click that tab you can send a message to the BJ mods & they will remove the offence message.

Erm....not so much.....to lose the match on an own goal in extra time in the second half, what a way to go....

I'd rather wear a coat in July than to carry a squeegee along to remove the perspiration from just sitting outside in the shade at 7 in the morning local time....in just a pair of shorts....

I didn't see the second half but saw this on the news. What a shame - but maybe there will be an increase in interest of UK Ladies football over the next four years.

Rugby's a tough sport, regardless of gender...I had a junior high school teacher waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back in the day who played rugby.....he had to give it up after his 5th concussion....he was my 8th grade health teacher, who decided his health was more important than continuing on with playing the sport....

Happy 4th of July Biggy

We has some college students from the US in our local pub this evening, they seemed to be doing a pub crawl by bus :P

I think they will have mighty hangovers by tomorrow morning :P

Oh to do a pub crawl in Oirland....along with a brewery/distillery crawl.....I surely wouldn't mind a hangover, especially if having a full Irish brekkie with a pint or 3 of Guinness....

Props to the women's footie team from England, besting Germany in the Women's World Cup 3rd place match 1-0 in AET....

Our men could learn from those ladies. -_-
