Forums like these are a means of keeping in touch , it's different from FB & Twitter where I think it's a bit more impersonal

I do not understand why people are on their phones so much these days & find little time for a good old fashioned chat , how on earth do they ever learn to communicate face to face. It; is little wonder these days that when you go into a store to buy something you come across staff with faces that lack personality, have very bad body language in general & some of them barely pass you the time of day :arrr: ... not all of them but some do

Talking about Twitter, do I need to know everything that is going on right now in the world , the answer is a NO ... I can happily wait :)

I love Twitter. ^_^

I love its randomness and its eccentricity.

and its humour :P

I don't get FB though - it doesn't interest me.

I am going to see this short film tonight , I have seen the trailer already , it is hilarious, all the participants live in Ireland & are over 100 years old

If only I might be as spry at that age, provided I make it to that age...

Such sad news from Paris.

I fear the news from Paris will be much worse before it gets better.....in the mother tongue of my dad's parents, Vive la France!!

I hope the weather has calmed down a bit in the UK, I am off to Manchester this morning & I hate windy flights
