I was in Austria for two weeks and we had no snow at all :) nice temperatures Bigwiglaf

O No Elisabeth, I heard they had very little snow there this year as did a lot of winter holiday resorts. I have a frind whose daughter wprks for a travel company & they get the chance to go visit these places so they can recommend to customers but when they got there there was no snow

Yes Tess I got it for my birthday this year - my first and only one at 53!!

I got it because just as RW wishes it for his daughter, so I wish it for my two. I also try to apply it to my life - don't often succeed though but I do try.

I love it. I'll never have another one. Just that. :)

I'll tweet you a photo :)

You have a good birth sign Laura so that's where the gentle comes in, me I am a Scorpion , not known for our patience

Went to try & buy tickets for David Gilmour ( Pink Floyd ) in RAH , prices 560 GBP & upwards  , changed my mind pretty quickly :( :(

My eldest daughter is a Scorpion - maybe not high on patience but very much a go-getter/motivator :yahoo:

I don't believe in star signs anyway

I was looking at Billy Joel again for Wembley next September - £275 - who can afford these flipping prices?

Howdy from York, Pennsylvania, ladies.....nice and chilly weather right now, about -3 or 4C......my kind of winter temperatures....

I think that weather is coming to the UK next week

It's going to be a shock to the system and the Christmas daffodils in the garden

O I am a go-getter, motivator with little patience & annoy the life out of everyone :P , but I do have my friends

:P

Is Billy Joel singing in the Wembley Stadium, Laura?

Yes - one night only in September Elisabeth and the fact that I keep hearing adverts for tickets - shows that they're too flipping expensive.

I would love to see him live but I'm just not prepared to pay those kind of prices.

Oh :o

I forget this is part of a bigger site. I still think we're chatting to ourselves on TRWS.

aside of the fact that I really miss Susie and Jackie I have not expected to be so comfortable with moving here. It is still always a nice talk and read. The positive vibe f trws have been transferred. I am happy to still have two places to speak Robbie rather that to read oneliners like on twitter or FB. I like some of the posts on the official site either.

I sometimes read in the UK forum about the sales numbers too on here and in the TT thread realizing that the hard core fans there are also trying anything to explain low sales and the growing irrelevance of acts like TT (valid for Robbie either) just like I would do it for Robbie.

I suppose like everything all artists have their day Elisabeth & then someone new comes along . I do like other artists but Robbie will always be one of my favourites. He is very lucky that he has quite a good fanbase that follow him on tour, that is where his fortune lies these these & where he makes his money, he is a very good live performer & that stands the test of time.

May be getting snow tomorrow evening here where I am for this temporary job in Pennsylvania.....they're saying maybe an inch or so, that will supposedly be going on for the evening rush hour, making things a mess on the roads for the winter's first snowfall in these parts...

No way in heck I'd be putting out that much money for any concerts meself, no matter the artist...
