I haven't gotten round to watching Beyoncé and Coldplay yet. Saw some of her set on news tonight.

 

 

I am always torn inside watching the kind of 'political' performances like the one of Beyoncé which het applauded everywhere.

Aside of the fact that I am not a fan of the over trained dance moves and might be the only one who appreciated Coldplay more. Is this kind of song/ black panther turned pop statement for real? Making a point? Or only another trick to announce the new tour?

There was an award ceremony in Germany on Saturday and it was entirely a statement pro refugee politics with huge applause and standing ovations for those who asked for limitless support. All the invited stars in the audience seemed to be interested all of a sudden as it is so PC in Germany. In Holland this is changing a lot. I always ask myself if this is real or only a hook for publicity.

Well, Helen Mirren and Julianne Moore got an award. I like the both. If I will be like Helen when I am 70 I will be happy. What a woman!

Probably like most things Elisabeth - a combination of both.

 

With 100m people watching I can totally understand the logic behind it. They're businessmen/women after all.

A lot of it is opportunistic but they are given the platform so I guess it's hard to blame them.

Tuesday night the storm was right overhead , massive thunder & lightening, the whole house shook & the wind was spinning up the road , all rather scary , I talked to several neighbours & everyone was up in the middle of the night , I was watching the results of the US presidential vote on CNN :P ... that Donald Trump cannot be stopped it would seem , I am sure other world leaders do not want to see him being President, he would run all over them , he may get the Republican nomination but I doubt people will actually vote for him on the day unless they are crazy :angel:
