Did most of the others not chart top 100 at least? I know Boots got to no54 or something even with a mid week release and of course The Cowboys Xmas Ball was no33!!

Cowboys xmas ball im almost sure missed the top 100 which is a huge shame as its just brilliant, i love it and its by far my own favourite Christmas song of theirs, i do my own christmas cds of my faves and this was the only new song added last year.

 

With direct hits having a Christmas market release i think a bonus cd of the christmas songs would have widened the appeal and increased sales of the album.

Great X Factor performance, i would have liked them to have performed Shot at the Night to boost it back up the charts but they wen with 2 of their big hits so they were aiming to boost sales of direct hits.

Gutted A Great Big Sled wasn't eligible it should also have been playlisted at radio 1 a classic for sure if people knew it existed and they still play it each yr along with Wizard & the rest!!

Direct Hits back in the top 10 this week pushing aits total sales to around 130,000, its doing ok for a greatest hits release in a climate where greatest hits dont seem to do well.

It also went top 10 On iTunes so def would have went top 20 at least in the week it was released!

I still think they were crazy not to have added a bonus disc of the christmas songs to the direct hits release. So many people dont know the christmas songs exist so it would have been a great way of getting the songs more known.

But they're for charity, how would they have split the profits up? :P

 

I do hope that in a year or two, they record one or two extra festive tracks and release the Christmas songs as an album where all proceeds go to (RED). I could do with them all on CD <3

They did say at one point they were waiting to have enough Christmas hits released to make a Christmas album iirc. I'd love to have an album with all their Christmas songs!

There's a possibility we might get it next Christmas. Considering they're taking a small break and Brandon is releasing his 2nd solo album, they might want to put out something before their next album in 2015.

Ya next year would be ideal to fill the gap, getting that and another solo brandon album would be great.

I own all of their Christmas songs but I have digitally downloaded them. It'd be nice to have a physical copy of all their Christmas songs.
