August 27, 200620 yr Author 29 (from 14) Alesha Dixon - Lipstick http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/ALESHA-DIXON.JPG As one third of Mis-teeq, Alesha Dixon is no stranger to chart success. However, following the demise of their record label Telstar (damn you, Victoria Beckham!) Mis-teeq decided to go their separate ways, despite achieving allusive success in the US with their song 'Scandalous'. Since then things have been quiet for Alesha, apart from marrying So Solid Crew rapper Harvey and making a star turn in N.E.R.D's video of 'She Wants To Move'. But that is all about the change with the release of her debut solo single 'Lipstick'. Retaining all the pop sensibilities that set Mis-teeq apart from other urban artists at the time, 'Lipstick' is all slick beats and groovy guitar licks, with Alesha's vocals oozing sex appeal all over the place. Full of sass, attitude, and undeniably catchy, 'Lipstick' is the first taste of Alesha's forthcoming album, on which it is rumoured she worked with uber-producers Richard X and Xenomania. - HMV Alesha Dixon Lipstick track listing * 1. August 27, 200620 yr Author 28 (Downloads only) Pink - U & Ur Hand http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/82876880802.JPG Pink returns with her 'U + Ur Hand', the third single from the chart-topping album 'I'm Not Dead'. Scoring a #3 hit with the controversial 'Stupid Girls' and reaching #5 with the emotive 'Who Knew', Pink looks set to have yet another chart stormer on her hands with the rock-tinged 'U + Ur Hand'. Produced and co-written with Max Martin, this infectious and witty track is the opposite of Pink's last single 'Who Knew', and sees her almost rapping the mocking lyrics about men who crawl clubs for women and who will be ultimately on their own at the end; "I'm not here for your entertainment, you don't really want to mess with me tonight. Keep your drink, just give me the money. It’s just you and your hand tonight". Pink starts and ends the track with some sexy chanting in true Pink style and the thrashing guitars and hard rock drums build up nicely to an unforgettable catchy pop chorus. 'U + Ur Hand' is a sure-fire radio hit and is set to catapult Pink straight back into the charts.- HMV Pink - U & Ur Hand track listing - CDS 1. U + UR Hand [Explicit] 2.
