Posted September 23, 201311 yr How I compile my charts: With a few exceptions, I don't go out of my way to seek out new songs - I usually wait until I hear them on the radio. I mainly listen to Radio 1 and for this reason, most (though not all) songs in my chart are those which are played on Radio 1. I don't usually add a song to my chart until it's started gaining some airplay. Songs generally tend to climb gradually as they grow on me, peak and then fall fast, so the chart looks similar to an 80's/90's singles chart. I also usually get bored of a song within a few weeks, so songs don't generally tend to hang around the chart for more than a few weeks - typically around 9 or 10 weeks for a Number 1. Haha there's no shame in admitting you like the Conor Maynard track, it's brilliant!! Embrace the Maynard :lol: 11 - yeah I agree, even though I'm sure this track is a complete rip off of some 90s song, I absolutely love it :D 23 - it's kinda the opposite with me, it sounded really promising on first listen but hasn't done much for me since... there's better songs on the album which could have been singles! 33 - it's good but sounds too similar to Love Me Again... have you heard the album sampler?
