October 26, 201311 yr (Hoping) to see some improvement, by people buying 'living for the weekend' over the weekend ;) :heehee:   yeah!!
October 26, 201311 yr YOU can guarantee it if you want but they've always had plans for January releases. Issues, Ego and even a planned faster was supposed to be releasedjanuary 2013. I doubt that they won't do anythingAlways had plans for a January release except the fact nothing happened in January 2011, 2012 or 2013?
October 26, 201311 yr I don't know if blast 106 is a famous station in belfast, but Sean, a cool DJ, played DL - my request over FB :)
October 26, 201311 yr Always had plans for a January release except the fact nothing happened in January 2011, 2012 or 2013? 2011 - Headlines was an EP, more than 2 singles was never planned and shouldn't have been 2012 - After the flunking of the album, they scratched faster 2013 - Therewas no need, if WBU was released then, it wouldn't have gotten to number one with such high sales and probably have suffered We have the answers! October 27, 201311 yr #34 throughout the midweeks (Tues, Wed, Thurs & Fri!) so... #34 on Sunday? Actually yes :yahoo: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/chart/albums
October 27, 201311 yr Not bad. Less of a drop than Wordshaker and On Your Radar. :D But please girls get another single announced before it's too late to save the campaign. :(
October 27, 201311 yr YESS!!!! Announce Not Giving Up Tomorrow, watch it climb to the top 40 and watch the album go top 10
October 27, 201311 yr Yeah, now that they have eluded the 'second week drop of death' it's time to get a new single out there and grab some Christmas sales.
October 27, 201311 yr Why are you guys excited? If it was selling 10,000 at #10, do you honestly think they're going to be selling like more than 5,000 copies at #34?
October 27, 201311 yr You can moap about it if you want to, but it's not their worst drop or best. It's the first time they've got a midweek position and stuck to it
October 27, 201311 yr It will be very hard to market them now though, especially with overshadowing Christmas releases AND Frankie absense. e If they release NGU (or whatever other song) now it might even miss the top-40 with lack of radio support and unclear future of the video. But if they push the release until January the album might be pretty much forgotten by the public, and even the single release won't help it by much.
October 27, 201311 yr Are we honestly celebrating a drop of 24 places? It could have been alot worse. The fact is, that right now, the album can still be saved. Sales are incredibly low and there's probably nothing between a top 20 album and a top 40 album. If they do some promo over the next few weeks (or a price cut?) then it could stick around until they get their next single announced and sent to radio where it could probably get a decent push again. It's fell fast, yes, but not in an On Your Radar/Wordshaker type way.

Yeah, but I think what they were trying to say was that they should announce it now, not release the single
October 27, 201311 yr Yeah, but I think what they were trying to say was that they should announce it now, not release the single I wonder if they should push a new single quickly (get something sent to radio and maybe try get a video shot - focusing on a storyline or something - before Xmas) or just try and keep pushing Disco Love since it's started to stabilise?
October 27, 201311 yr I'd say - keep pushing 'Disco Love'! This is actually a song that would fare in Q4 the most, and there's no need to shoot a new video etc.
