For their first time in America they had E! behind them which had them connections to all the massive TV shows and gave them a well promoted reality show. They also had the "first girl band to try break America" thing going on and at that time, there was only one baby and one other pregnancy.

If they go back, they won't have E! behind them any more which means they'd HAVE to start from the bottom and do endless radio tours and gigs and it could be months before they even get radio on board. Do you really think they'll bother doing all the travelling and hard work especially considering it's The Saturdays and they now have three babies? Oh, and since this album has bombed they probably can't even afford to go to America for months any way. Throw in the fact Little Mix have now started to blow up over there (they've had two instant grat songs go top ten on US iTunes already) means they have now lost any chance of getting any attention as a stand alone UK girl band and I can't see why anyone in their right mind would even think of breaking America.

You do need to remember the thing about Little Mix is that they won X-Factor and one of them is due to marry a member of direction, they were bound to do well over there regardless of their music or not!

That's unfair for Little Mix. Their fans saying they are better singers than The Saturdays or that they are the best girlgroup ever clearly are delusional, but they deliver great music nevertheless. Their last album is good and they seem to put a lot of effort into their game. Yes, if they hadn't had the X-Factor and Zayn connection, they wouldn't be as big, but I don't believe their voices or music would be less good for that reason. Let's just stop the comparison and talk about The Saturdays only, shall we.
altogether if the albums were £10 each they made £180,000 on the album so far. surely it didn't cost that much to produce?

I really don't think it works like that. I know these days artists have a "360 deal" (I do not know what that is) but in the days of Michael Jackson the artist would make $1(~60p) per album sale.

Artists don't make money off albums, they make money off touring and endorsement deals. They have done well with endorsement deals, so as long as the tour does decently well they should be fine. The All Fired Up tour grossed upwards of 7 million dollars or 4.2 million pounds. They would have to sell millions of albums in order to make that much off the album itself.

What's equally unfair is the way they act, the way the fans act and the whole concept in general. I was looking through youtube yesterday at a bunch of LM/Sats related videos and came across a comparison video where a sats fan was saying she was more team sats than mixer and what I believe to be a mixer replied with "they are all old they do not deserve to be alive they need to get killed". To me, if LM cannot control their fans then they shouldn't be a concept as I've heard of no accounts of sats fans going out and saying stuff like this. I don't like their music because to me they are the same as direction in the way that they are put together to make money and there was no real friendship there - yes the sats were put together by a company but Rochelle and Frankie had been friends prior to the formation. I agree in that they must have something about them but personally I don't see it myself and am not a fan of mass produced groups like LM/1D who come off X-Factor. + I think within the next year LM will overtake the sats on records as they are only a million behind.

However yes, Team Sats all the way!

Love both groups but what little mix's fans are doing is clearly OTT. Maybe it's cause they are younger and less wise than sats fans or GA fans

See I cannot stand Little Mix. What angers me more is they have been around two years and moronic idiots such as the likes of Kelly Rowland have dubbed them the best girl group to come out of the UK.

She's a moronic idiot for having an opinion?

Its not Kelly I have a problem with, but the little mix fans are kind of driving people away from the band

Seriously bugger off with that signature. how disrespectful are you.
Little MIx innovate with his music, The Saturdays are the generic dance and more of the same

i love Little Mix, so don't compare the teo girlgroups please! But you do realise pretty much everything on the Salute samples something else? Oh and doing pop/RnB music for a girlband isn't really innovating.

But it's okay you're just really pressed and bitter. It's alright.

Bye, now!

hurricane you sig is gorgeous!!

Saturdays are infact more innovative....they took risk by being innovative...

OUTCOME

1. Reality show, which many artistes started to copy after this.

2. Gentleman, by showing their versatility with different genres

3. Disco love video and song, which made everyone feel nostalgic.

4. Google hangouts....and on and on....

These are just few....unlike LM which only follows what simon says. ;)

Can we PLEASE stop these Little Mix v The Saturdays debates! They just always end up going round in circles, when at the end of the day people have their opinions and aren't going to be persuaded away from them on a forum like this.

We do not not need ANOTHER debate when we've had about 50 million on this forum already!

I agree.

So I decided we should talk about my signature, which indeed, is really pretty. What can I say when Queen Frankie is just drop dead gorgeous on that picture?

If you think that about the saturdays whats up with the obsession with coming onto this forum, your blatant obsession with the band itself and disrespect towards other artists? I absolutely hate Cheryl cole but I don't make fun of her or make up a stupid sig like that.

that basically what I said. so disrespectful!
Can the moderator step in and do something about the troll ... who is disrespectful
