I can't see any of them working as this time of the year.

When I read that at first I thought you meant the girls

Haha unexpected double entendre at its best!

Winter Ballad and then an amazing New Year number one smash (ie NGU) PLEASE :D

Because with 4 singles in and a next to become #22 flop single (Leave A Light On), they are so going to release another single after that, right....

It's Not Giving Up or nothing, really.

I think we should get all The Sats fans together and get #NotGivingUpOrNothing trending..

I don't use Twitter but I would join just for this.

However, I could see Lease My Love working over Xmas and then Not Giving Up early next year. However, if they make the mistake of not releasing the BEST song on the album and possibly one of the best they have ever recorded, they are nuts!

I would appreciate Leave a light on getting released. At first I thought if it was released it would have to be the last single, but I get the love for it now  Still NGU though please :D

They're in a right predicement.

Not Giving Up is the obvious choice. It doesn't matter that it's not a balad, it's party season! This will smash at Christmas and New Years parties. Will deffinately get everyone 'on the floor'. It has mass appeal. The only thing that's going to scupper it's chances of actually being a single is that if Frankie is not present, they'll end up leasing her parts to someone else. Will she be 100% ready to return to their routines (not that they're that demanding these days). Finally, the girls don't seem to be behind the track that much.

If they want to go down the balad route, I hope they'd go with Lease My Love. It shows a different side to them which wont have the 'Gentlemen effect' ie (open too many doors at once). It does have a slight wintery substance (I very cold and sharp video would complement the song well). If Frankie is not back in time her parts aren't too forgettable to re-record. It showcases their RnB balad side which they haven't really done since Issues. The credits alone on this should make them look 'good'. Darkchild has produced for so many legends. But again, the girls aren't backing it which is a shame as it's a beautiful song.

I really don't want Leave A Light On <_<. It's nice, but it sounds way to similar to Here Standing in production values, therefore sounds dated and doesn't really offer much progression-wise compared to Not Giving Up and Lease My Love. It could have been on Wordshaker 4 years ago. I feel the track isn't very instant, it's a very slow grower and that second verse sounds terrible which is what puts me off liking it more. However the girls love it, and Frankie's not in it so easy-peasy performance wise.

Afterall, we'll only get another single if Frankie's return is prompt and they can get a video out in the next 6wks which will be pushing it. I fear that if she doesn't return untill next year they'll shelf the single and re-start on another album. They gotta stop doing that!!

"[keep on] do what we do like nobody else does it" says Frankie!

I agree that they need to try shifting an album properly.
