January 10, 201411 yr In all honesty, of course it's gutting! I hope the girls promote the hell out of their brand new single and focus on going all out on what could be one of their final full studio albums. I need a Dr Luke track by The Saturdays. It's been a mixed year but I'm sure before 'What About Us' got released we would have happily accepted 400,000+ sales and over 550,000+ worldwide.

January 10, 201411 yr It's irritating they didn't get nominated. What About Us is their biggest seller and it's unlikely they'll ever get another one as big as that anytime soon so this was their only real chance of getting one. They never really get nominated for awards (besides the crappy magazine type ones) so it'd have been nice to have had their names down for a Brit but oh well.
January 11, 201411 yr Since January 18 2013, here's some Twitter figures. Frankie - 1 247 029 245 282 Rochelle - 926 599 246 009 Mollie - 924 693 212 227 Una - 774 449 190 744 Group (official) - 657 768 176 134 Vanessa - 482 833 135 999 So Rochelle has taken over Mollie as the 2nd most popular on Twitter and she also had the biggest increase in terms of followers. Clearly her profile in the UK has had a nice boost from showing up to Sweat The Small Stuff and Strictly. As for the Youtube views : What About Us - 14140206 11 573 733 Higher ft Flo Rida - 9 647 053 3 074 223 :o Missing You - 9 586 266 1 424 667 Higher - 9 178 647 2 120 371 *Issues - 8 011 212 (There's two videos for the song, one on Polydor, the other one on Vevo account. Here's the boost it had on the Vevo one : 754 365) What About Us ft Sean Paul - 7 966 028 *Just Can't Get Enough - 7 408 522 (There's two videos for the song, one on Polydor, the other one on The Saturdays account. Here's the boost it had on the Polydor one : 222 958) Notorious - 5 982 205 1 158 998 OMG YASSS All Fired Up - 5 786 212 984 122 *Up - 5 454 269 (There's two videos for the song, one on Vevo the other one on The Saturdays account. Here's the boost it had on the Vevo one : 370 815) Forever Is Over - 5 192 011 148 026 *Ego - 4 744 733 (There's two videos for the song, one on Polydor, the other one on The Saturdays account. Here's the boost it had on the Polydor one 373 510) My Heart Takes Over - 3 891 814 848 681 *Work - 3 647 613 (There's two videos for the song, one on Vevo the other one on The Saturdays account. Here's the boost it had on the Vevo one : 275 851) *If This Is Love - 3 626 526 (There's two videos for the song, one on Vevo the other one on The Saturdays account. Here's the boost it had on the Vevo one : 157 639) 30 Days - 3 174 746 718 038 Disco Love - 2 945 434 Gentleman - 2 861 860So I know this is REALLY messy, but that's because Lee and Shadow didn't combine the views of the multiple videos they have for a few songs. It's really messy. Some videos are on Polydor, others on their account and finally some on the Vevo account. But some are private, some aren't. Big mess! But now it should be clearer. January 11, 201411 yr :cheer: That's great :) And apparently they do care about getting another #1!! :D www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/news/a542122/the-saturdays-talk-chart-success-we-have-to-keep-trying.html They had better release NGU then!! :D
January 11, 201411 yr I'm getting bored now. What are they waiting for?! Are they going to scrap releasing a new single? It needs to go to radios and build up airplay if they want it to be successful!
January 11, 201411 yr Author :cheer: That's great :) And apparently they do care about getting another #1!! :D www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/news/a542122/the-saturdays-talk-chart-success-we-have-to-keep-trying.html They had better release NGU then!! :D I think they're definitely going to be pushing for #1 with NGU!
January 11, 201411 yr They definitely should push for it with Not Giving Up. Similar to What About Us - appeals to everyone, catchy, fun, lyrics that don't alienate (a la Gentleman) and the song itself has universal appeal. Just need a good video to go with it (artsy and slick or fun and laid back - song suits either) and solid promo (as much as possible for this time of year). EDIT: Still sounds like there's no mention about the single or tour in the mailer today. Haven't had mine yet but others have said such. I'm bored of them teasing things way too far in advance and then dragging it out until noone cares and the interest is long gone. What are they playing at, really? They need to do something. Edited January 11, 201411 yr by Encore

January 11, 201411 yr At least they are remaining in the public eye by participating in the Bake off & the cube!
January 11, 201411 yr At least they are remaining in the public eye by participating in the Bake off & the cube! They're going to end up more well known as reality TV contestants than singers, though.
