Evidently there are one or two throwing hissy fits because the general populous of the fanbase don't find it hilarious.
Some Little Mix fans are so annoying. I made a thread on The X Factor section on Digital Spy about how perfect Rochelle would be as a judge on X Factor and they started shading her and the group. Truth is Little Mix would be nowhere as big without Zayn Malik and their sales aren't great considering the platform they got from The X Factor and the promo they receive from being linked with 1D

I agree. Simon needs to book Rochelle for the panel. She's got the personality, she'd easily have chemistry with the other judges and she's got a good enough voice. She might not be the most famous person, but the best panels are usually created with the less famous people than a-list names.

 I just can't at the shade from the 'Mixers'. They are forgetting that The Sats supported those girls and have a much better discography that them...
I like both groups, but it's going to be a while before Little Mix catch up with The Saturdays' record sales. So they need to be quiet until then/

And once The 1D wedding is called off as a publicity stunt, they will lose their fans...

Lets not compare sales. Little Mix's albums charted in alot of countries (including top ten in the US) and their sales are very decent (not "amazing" but acceptable) plus their singles have done "alright" worldwide as well. They won't take long in catching The Sats sales.

I think the sats could have had loads of worldwide smashes if they were actually released worldwide (Higher and All Fired Up being 2 of them)

Yeah, so..

That made me quite upset reading it. The girls did say that this is released more as a fan single. But yes, if the end is near then so be it, the girls have had an incredible run and no matter what happens I will support them
That was written by one blogger with no actual proof that they would be dropped. They really have come back from worse. Even if this charts low it won't be the end. It's the fifth single off a poor performance album. remember when KP Released The One That Got Away? it's one of her most lowest charting tracks and still mustered up decent sales. It all depends on the song at this point. I'm also starting to think that they should have left this as a normal album single release rather than What they are doing now.

LOL someone made that blog just to type that up! There are so many mistakes, I can't even count.

The biggest one, for me, is where it says that they always make a bad decision regarding follow up singles.

That's simply not the case, they usually have a bad first single and follow it up with an amazing one.. 'Living For The Weekend' has been a weird era for them.

It's not over. I'll eat my words if I'm wrong. I'm not being a deluded fan looking at it with rose coloured glasses... but it's really not the end.

I read somewhere that 'The Saturdays' name is a brand formed by all 5 girls and in some way they can't actually be dropped
I disagree with people who say picking Gentleman as a single was a mistake, it was like nothing they've ever done before. They've been accused of being too generic recently so doing an rnb rap song was a good idea and considering they just had a number 1, they could afford to take a risk. I think it is one of those songs where it could have been huge as its so different and unique so I can see where them and their management were coming from choosing it to be a single. Personally I really like Gentleman and think it deserved to do a lot better than it did.

I like that they experimented and its still a not bad song, and fantastic for dirty lyrics

They needed a safe hit before going experimental. After "What About Us" the radios were hungry for a commercial Saturdays banger. "Not Giving Up" or "Disco Love" would've pulled in a second #1, or at least top 3 hit. Then they could afford to go experimental with "Gentleman" after album release (which should've been following the 3rd single, not 4th).

I agree. Though I know people think Gentleman could have been a good 5th single, but it isn't good enough to be a single at all in my opinion. It's not awful, but only go experimental if you've got something sublime. It would have worked as a quirky album track or B-side in my opinion. People would have appreciated it much more that way. And I also agree, Not Giving Up and Disco Love would have easily been top 3 hits if released 2nd and 3rd.
