So Bowie's re-releasing his (a bit overrated) The Next Day album soon and this is taken from it. James Murphy picks up Love is Lost and transforms it into something rather epic, love the clapping and the way it morphs into the main beat... and the subtle use of the synth line from Ashes to Ashes is inspired. Give me a Bowie album like this thank you please.

Stumbled upon this the other day as well, it's really great.

This is really good, heard it on 6Music last Thursday - James Murphy described how the work came about between him and Bowie, and of course Arcade Fire.

 

Probably my favourite single of the era now.

Heard this for the first time on 6 Music last week, it's amazing. When Ashes to Ashes came into it I nearly cheered. I've heard the 4 minute version, but someonetold me there's a 10 minute one as well?
