I'm familiar with these two. One is decent, the other not so much.

"Tears in Heaven- Celine Dion (Eric Clapton)" seems intriguing ^_^

Neil Diamond's was the original version of "Red Red Wine", UB40's version was one of may cover versions. Same with "Fire", you've got the original/cover the wrong way around (and the Pointer Sisters'version was awful)

was under the impression Bruce wrote -Fire but the Pointer Sister was the first public release on album..

yes dead right on the Red Red wine...

Thank you appreciate it..god bless..

There were many versions of Unchained Melody before the Righteous Brothers recorded it. The first version was recorded by Todd Duncan for the film Unchained (hence the title). Three versions of the song reached the top ten in the UK in 1955 (Jimmy Young's version got to number one), ten years before the Righteous Brothers' version.

Yes. Bruce wrote it originally for Elvis Presley (!) but Elvis died before the demo arrived with him (at least according to Wikipedia so take it with a pinch of salt)

Bruce recorded it along with about 50 other songs for "Darkness On The Edge Of Town" but it failed to make the cut, then the Pointer Sisters covered it for their album not much later.
