Currently at #1033! I think that must be its highest this season. Should easily be top 800 by the end of the week Joe!

Yes. Leona is owning Christmas like it's 2013.
Also, there are 29 X-Factor songs ahead of it (which aren't eligible to chart) plus maybe some instagrats and duplicates so it's most prob like at #850ish once you discount all of those. I hope it'll do well on streaming this year. If it does it could be promising for Leona's lead single off the album.
The key is for Heart radio to play this. It's unlikely that it'll get many spins from R1 or capital this year. Maybe a few from r2. But heart LOVE playing older songs and they massively my supported this last year.

I think Heart will definitely play it again. They still play "Run" & "Bleeding Love" and they absolutely hammered OMS out last year, so I expect them to do something similar this year. Another good thing is that OMS got huge TV support too and I think it'll get that again this year. The video is very Xmasy and short meaning it can rack up a lot of play from TV channels quick easily (good idea from Leona/her management). Can't wait to track how it does this Xmas. :D

I really hope it's featured on Xmas compilation albums and made 59p at some point perhaps? :D

Track 1 on the 2014 release of Now Christmas would be absolutely perfect (but it's never gonna happen)!

I was just searching and it looks like they might not be releasing a new version this year. Normally it's released on the first Monday of November, yet there's been no information released about it yet. So looks like it might not happen! :(

That's the exact same as last year's album. I don't think they're re-releasing it this year!

Okay, well 59p and featured at the top of 'Christmas songs for 59p' will be just as excellent.

1st track on Now Christmas in 2015 when she's coming for that Gold certification.

She won't need anything by 2017 when she's getting her next million seller with it.

Personally I think she could possibly manage Gold this January (if not it will come very close). Sales wise she should manage to double her sales to 260,000. And then there's the possible streaming sales which could be 100,000+.

She managed 131,000 in 4 chart weeks last year. So she should double, maybe even triple that with the inclusion of streaming and an extra 3 or 4 chart weeks of sales.

It will certainly make a chart return this year going by early indications from i-tunes at the moment.

iTunes - 787 Leona Lewis One More Sleep

She entered that top 800 earlier than I expected!

With Fairytale of New York and Last Christmas trailing at 1083 and 1163.

Maria is the only one ahead at 288 (which is crazy being this far away from Christmas).

Would it be too ambitious to hope for a top 500 by the end of the week then?!

For reference in 2013 on iTunes, Mariah and The Pogues entered the top 200 on Wednesday 13th November. They entered the top 40 on 1st December.
Things are going very well at the moment! I hope Leona does do a little promotion or something.

I'm so excited, all is looking well so far! Hopefully this could be top 500 by the end of this week & carry on rising! Is top 20 too optimistic for this year? Because I honestly have a gut feeling it will be somewhere around the 16 mark.

Would be lovely if she did a few promo appearances but for some reason I don't think she will, which is fine because I think the song sells itself. Also can see this being hammered on tv, especially on that Christmas Music Chanel they have which usually appears start of Decemeber.

If any of you guys have spotify, try to listen to "One More Sleep" on there to try to help its streaming out! :)

Just signed up before, gonna try and listen to it as often as I can on there!

Currently:

258. Mariah Carey- All I Want For Christmas Is You

771. Leona Lewis- One More Sleep

976. Wham!- Last Christmas

1016. The Pogues- Fairytale of New York

1087. Michael Buble- It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas

1108. Roy Wood & Wizzard- I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday

1043. The Pogues ft Kirsty MacColl- Fairytale of New York

1226 Shakin' Stevens Merry Christmas Everyone (Single Version)

All The Christmas songs are jumping up now, but Leona is really holding her own (Fairytale is probably ahead combined) among some timeless classics. I really think if Wham can make it into the top 40 every year (spent 2 or 3 weeks between 30 - 40 last year) Leona should make it.

Someone also posted where they all were this time last year:

Two Biggies:

280. Mariah Carey- All I Want For Christmas Is You

516. The Pogues ft Kirsty MacColl- Fairytale of New York

952. Wizzard- I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday

1112. Bellowhead- Christmas Bells

1296. Shakin' Stevens- Merry Christmas Everyone

1395. Band Aid- Do They Know It's Christmas (1984 Version)

1488. Wham!- Last Christmas

EDIT - 702 Leona Lewis One More Sleep

Coming for that top #700.
