I don't understand why Syco don't do more to promote it. Surely it's in their interests as much as Leona's to have a recurring Christmas hit? Last year they had her back on to perform that awful duet of Run with Ben Haenow, so there's hope they could have her back again this year to perform OMS.

Sneaked into the top 1500 of iTunes earlier but appears to be just outside at the moment!

There is so much Syco/Leona could do to promote it more.

 

A contestant could sing it during the X Factor if they do the Christmas theme again or even have them sing it as the group performance at the start, maybe even with Leona.

 

She could do shows like Text Santa or other Christmas specials and sing it, I don't see how it is weird for her to keep promoting it, Mariah still sings AIWFCIY every year and if I was Leona I'd do everything I could to make it a Christmas staple song.

 

She could do a live video for it on a Vevo channel or a Spotify session. I wish they would try and do more.

It is definitely in the interests of both Leona and Syco to promote and have a yearly hit with One More Sleeo as financially they both gain plus it would be a recurring Christmas hit for them. I was surprised Leona was back on the X Factor final last year which is why i have a feeling they will reunite again, that said, the duet with Ben was terrible and only because there voices and ranges were not compatible.

 

X Factor used to always do a Christmas songs theme week back in its early days and i always enjoyed that week, i wish they would bring it back. Should this happen it would be an ideal opportunity to promote One More Sleep and other Christmas songs too.

We should also Shazam it snd play it on spotify as much as possible.

I would probably expect her to do A Moment Like This or Bleeding Love if that's true! As long as it's not Run for third time :o

Anyway Soeplepel already told us last week they were plans for Leona to appear at the final but it clashed with her Portugal gig so she can't do it, which is a great shame, I wonder what she would have been doing.

Clearly not if they were trying to work something out, its just she had this gig booked in Portugal for months and it clashes.
