Promotion is not the problem with these girls. We can't expect them to perform on every single TV show and be at every radio station for the entire duration of a song being released. They *should* be at a stage where they can just release a song and radio/TV will hammer it because IT'S THE SATURDAYS and they've been around five years, but for some reason they don't get the radio support they need. If they're only going to get a radio peak of #24 or something then they can perform on every TV show they want but the song just isn't going to be a hit.

I still believe promotion is a key problem though! Single choice as well. Dis co love would've been the perfect single after WBU

The problem was Rochelle's pregnancy. They needed something which she could be easily replaced (which she could for Gentleman). Had there been no pregnancies, I think the campaign would have been VERY different!

1st single: 30 Days

2nd single: What About Us

3rd single: Not Giving Up [Rochelle would have been able to do all the choreography for live performances and video]

4th single: Disco Love

5th single: Leave a Light On

I don't believe the label/management plan the singles releases according to how the girls can be replaced on the songs. Surely releasing the 'better' song (in their opinion, obviously) is the best option/idea. I mean, YES, their team is shitty and makes awful decisions, but I genuinely believe they don't know about it and probably can't understand when one of the girls' single flops.

I think they had plans on 2013 being *the* breakout year for them. America, global success, new album, TV show etc but wrong decision after wrong decision plus two pregnancies has kinda made them give up and now we're back to a regular and boring schedule.
they started off right though, with What About Us. They might try again next year I reckon I mean we saw that they do have the capability of being quite big.

Things did start great with What About Us, even in America. It almost entered the Top 100 on US iTunes based off of hype alone. Because of Rochelle and Frankie's pregnancies they didn't end up traveling back to do any follow up promo or, more importantly, radio interviews. Same went for France, Australia, and Germany. They were operating as a 3-piece when promoting in those countries.

To be completely honest I think 2014 will be their year. I think that once the holidays are over they are really going to kick it into high gear. All the girls that wanted to have babies had them so they are content with that and can focus on their careers. It sounds like Mollie and Vanessa are in no rush to have babies or even get married. This will be the first year since 2010 where there will be no pregnancies (hopefully).

I'm excited to see what happens :)
