32. I think the fact that Saturdays have a couple of other versions has helped them stay ahead of them.

Wow, they've gone up to #33! on iTunes, have overtaken Same Love and All Night and Venus! They need to overtake Blurred Lines combined to stay at #30 this week. A non-mover or a Down 1/2 might actually help the song get slightly more airplay.

All Eminem's tracks will be eligible next week (though they might quickly fall as people buy the album instead) and there will be a few new entries, and the song will probably sell a bit less. So it will be a difficult one to hold onto the top 40 - but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

I know!! I just saw the jump!! It's been in green the last 4 updates on kworb. I love the weekend effect and it really seems to be paying of this weekend!!

Disco Love is at all those positions in the UK iTunes.

That means #28 without doubles and ineligible songs! I can see this getting ahead of Beautiful Life as well but I think that'll be it. I'm really hoping this will remain at #30 or (dare I say) increase on this week's official chart.

No. It will not go higher than #31, it's to far behind Robin Thicke and on the Friday update they were 4000 sales ahead of The Saturdays'. I'm also sure that The Saturdays' will end up at #62 on the album chart this week and sell around 1600.

How many sales had Blurred Lines/Disco Love had on Friday...?

But I agree, I think if they'd been in today's position for a few more days they'd have been 30/29 tomorrow, but Same Love and Blurred Lines had too much of a head start. It looks like they'll get the #31 which is still really good considering the fall it's experienced up until now.

And nice to see Disco Love in Dark Green again on the latest update.

What does everyone think about a 5th week in the top 40? I think it'll be difficult with all the new entries & Eminem being eligible again.

It'll probably be something like #41 next week knowing our luck.

Hopefully it gets used on X-Factor VT or something since it's Disco Week.

Probably but I would be fine with #41 next week. Glad to see this isn't enduring the typical Sats plummet.

I just bought it again off of 'Pop Party 12' don't usually multi-buy, but I love this song, and think it deserves higher sales.

It's nice to see that this has held up at 33 all day even though it wi inevitably fall back to the low 30s/40s tomorrow.

Finishing the week on a high as they're up to 32 ( at least for an hour or two before the new releases overtake.)

Looks like that #31 is a sure thing for tomorrow.

A Saturdays song ranking higher at the end of the week than in the midweeks? When is the last time that happened?

Higher. It rose all the time before it's official release

That's a different circumstance though, as it was a post album release. :kink:

The new releases were all released an hour early because of a time change, and it's back down to 36 already. Loads of big releases this week. Even if they get pushed to about #41 on iTunes next week, Lorde has double copies and Gaga's still isn't eligable so they might just scrape the top 40 for a 5th week. Fingers crossed.
Correct me if I'm wrong but justin fell 14 places from Friday to Sunday last week. If he does the same again(he's charted lower every week so far) , the Saturdays will actually stay at #30 in the official chart, no?

that's actually a really good point!! Imagine?! :cheer:

Overtaken Union J again

 35 . I'll be really glad if they can hold onto the top 40 for a 5th week.

Justin was 6000 ahead of The Saturdays' on Friday. #31 is where they will be this week with around 9-10k sales.
Icona Pop did 10,528 at #31 so let's hope The Saturdays can do that too, although I was more thinking of something like 7-8,5k. 10k would be so much better though.

I think it'll be about 9.5k.

If they stay above 42 iTunes this week they'll manage another week in top fourty.

Weren't Icona Pop lower than The Sats?

edit - yeah, Icona Pop were #32, The Sats were #31.
