I think the controversial video that got scrapped would have helped, a lot. Joseph has said the directors cut is his best work, ever.

 

Oh and a performance would have done wonders.

I haven't listened to the single mix since the Dreaming Mix leaked, Sia's backing vocals make it that much more perfect.

Randomly shuffled the Dreaming Mix of this and forgot how stunning it was. Should've been the final single version (I know there isn't much difference between the two but the subtle differences make all the difference!). I still find the original song really underrated regardless :wub: Such a beauty <3

Agreed! One of the few gems we had with BJ.

After all these years this song has just started to grow on me in the last week. I couldn't stand it at the time and had no idea why it was a single but I am starting to like it now.

It's one of her most underrated songs.

 

I guarantee this would have been a massive smash if it was released when she was relevant.

This has always been a highlight for me. It felt quite different for Britney and her vocal seems recognisably her, unlike the rest of the album.

 

I was gutted when it did nothing in the charts, perhaps not being able to admit that Britney was no longer 'it' girl.

It's one of the worst singles she ever released for me (from an album).
