Sonny Wilson is also Dutch according to his Twitter account. I'd imagine he has some Jamaican heritage though (either that or he just sings in a Jamaican accent for some reason).

To be continued in a few weeks as Martin Garrix looks like he has a good shot at a #1 with 'Animals'.

A couple late additions. The first comes courtesy of Michael787 at Haven. The Lou Reed bit was, obviously, added rather late. I wasn't going to mention Noel Harrison but, once I decided to say something about Lou Reed, I thought I should mention him as well. The song I referred to, Windmills Of Your Mind, was used in the soundtrack of the film The Thomas Crown Affair and won an award for best song in a film. You guessed it, it won an Oscar.

I could also have mentioned that one of the participants in the Various Artists version of Perfect Day was Suede singer Brett Anderson. The lyrics of Suede's The Next Life include the line "Down to Worthing and work there". Jack Worthing is one of the characters in The Importance Of Being Earnest. His surname was chosen because the man who found him in a handbag in the cloakroom at Victoria Station had a ticket to Worthing at the time. Incidentally, the train from London to Worthing goes through Haywards Heath which is where Brett Anderson (as well as Mat Osman and his Pointless brother Richard) grew up.
