Very busy week for new releases, hopefully Cher won't embarrass herself too much going against all the others ^_^ Very good start for Cody Simpson (as ever) - I have to wonder is he constantly going to be a fanbase act or will he ever be taken seriously by radio? :lol:

Will totally depend on radio I think. If they get on board like radio did with 'Fancy' then it could end up doing well but meh, they tried really hard to push most of her last singles and people just didn't bite so I'm not sure this will be any different, much as I'd like her to get another hit.

Fancy got to #30 on iTunes on its release week with zero airplay before that radio support finally started to happen last week though

 

I really think "Sirens" and "I wish" have been 2 of Cher Lloyd's best tracks yet but as mentioned already on this thread, these generic pop songs are so dependent on US radio and whether they get onboard or not. For example I think 1D's "little things" was a much better song than "Story of my life" but radio for some reason decided to support the later.

 

Also can I say as clichéd as it is, I love Calvin's new song!
