If you combined Iggy's both entries, she's still selling the most.

Hopefully Ariana can hit #1 for a week (just so Iggy can have back to back #1's) and drop back down to #2, since her video is so shit.

No, it has a June 17th release (up against Lana and Linkin Park (and J-Lo))

Well that's silly. I could see it possibly reaching #1 anyway though (it is higher than both Lana and LP on pre-orders after all)? Not really sure what to expect for the first week sales of any of the 3 but Sam does seem to have quite a lot of hype already whereas the hype for the other two has seemed a bit lacklustre (Lana evidently still has a large fanbase though so 'Ultraviolence' could have a pretty big opening week though I wouldn't expect it to hold up well...)

Of course knowing the USA they'll probably all be beaten by Luke Bryan or something.

For the sake of comparison, here are the pre-order positions:

6. Sam Smith - In the Lonely Hour (Deluxe Version)

10. Lana Del Rey - Ultraviolence (Deluxe)

29. LINKIN PARK - The Hunting Party

111. Sam Smith - In the Lonely Hour

429. Lana Del Rey - Ultraviolence (Deluxe Version)

974. Lana Del Rey - Ultraviolence

Not sure how Sam could possibly have mustered enough fans to beat people as big as Lana and Linkin Park but that's what iTunes suggests. He does however have multiple advantages over the other two. For one thing, he has a random iTunes banner and his album is featured in the "New Music" section. For another, his album is much cheaper compared to the others ($10.99 versus $14.99 for Lana) and of course he actually has a single on the radio, unlike the others.

Could be a very interesting chart battle, Sam could pull an upset for sure.

I am happy for Sam's success but I want Lana #1.

'Ultraviolence' is incredible, everyone go buy. This means you Tyler.

Country artists making songs about alcohol. Big shock.

 21. Charli XCX - Boom Clap

Is this featured prominently in the movie (The Fault In Our Stars). It has been climbing steadily.

Up to #12 now. :o

Apparently it plays during a scene where the characters are in Amsterdam and judging by comments there are also adverts on YouTube for the movie that feature the song.

Hope it can sustain this success after the buzz surrounding the opening of the movie dies down, really love the song.

Charli XCX getting a hit would be incredible, hope it can at least make the Hot 100!

Yay! So happy for her!!
