I would imagine that's mostly coincidental, it's just been slowly climbing for a while (it's been bubbling under for ages hasn't it?) and it's maybe gaining a bit of momentum now.

Don't think anyone has noticed how well 'Love Runs Out' has started to do. I think everyone expected OneRepublic to go back to flopping so it's nice to see this heading into the top 20 and maybe towards the top 10! Not sure what the Kenny Chesney thing is but whenever it and the one remaining Ed instant grat drop out, 'Summer' and 'Latch' will be back in. Four British artists top 10 if it happens.

^ To be honest, lots of the OneRepublic singles that did nothing in the UK were big hits in the US (like Good Life a few years ago). I think they get hits more consistently there.

Yeah, OneRepublic never really became irrelevant in the USA like they did in the UK (although 'Counting Stars' was their first really big hit for a while in both countries).

Personally I thought 'If I Lose Myself' failing to do anything was a sign that 'Counting Stars' was just a fluke for them, but I'm glad to see that 'Counting Stars' wasn't the end of them.

Wasn't 'If I Lose Myself' released before 'Counting Stars' in the US? (It was in the UK as well but didn't do anything until a re-release after 'Counting Stars', I don't think it was similarly re-released in the USA).

I assumed the Alesso remix would have got a similar release in the US. I didn't see it ever on airplay or anything but I just assumed that was cause it bombed.
