November 10, 201311 yr Author Britney Spears' last solo single in the Top 40 was actuallt "Till The World Ends" not "Hold It Against Me". Oops, that should have said top ten. *Goes to edit*
November 10, 201311 yr The Overtones don't quite have a hat-trick of top 5 albums, their second album reached #6. David Bowie did re-release 'The Next Day' as a bundle but to his credit he did also release the extra EP separately - it missed the top 75 this week though (#89 to be precise).

It originally said top ten but I changed when they entered one place higher than anticipated. I'd misremembered the peak of their second album. As you can probably tell, several new entries didn't happen in the order I had anticipated
November 11, 201311 yr The latest UK Album Chart had the entire Top 5 as New Entries - for only the 4th time. It also had 8 New Entries in the Top 10 for the 1st time. Week Ending 16th November 2013 - (5 Top 5, 8 Top 10) - (The 1st time for 8 Top 10 Entries) 1. (NE) THE MARSHALL MATHERS LP 2 - (Eminem) 2. (NE) JAMES ARTHUR - (James Arthur) 3. (NE) DEMONSTRATION - (Tinie Tempah) 4. (NE) MUSIC OF THE NIGHT - (Andre Rieu) 5. (NE) SATURDAY NIGHT AT THE MOVIES - (The Overtones) 6. (NE) YOU & ME - (Shane Filan) 7. (NE) THE NATION'S FAVOURITE ELVIS SONGS - (Elvis Presley) 8. (3) MOON LANDING - (James Blunt) 9. (NE) WORD OF MOUTH - (The Wanted) 10. (2) PRISM - (Katy Perry) NOTE - There were also 8 New Entries in the Top 10, on W/E 8th March 1969. But that was because Record Retailer allowed Budget Albums to Chart, for one Week. The 8th March 1969 Chart has now been erased from UK Chart History, which is why UK Chart Books do not List The Seekers Album as a No.1. Instead the Diana Ross & The Supremes With The Temptations Album is given a 4th Week at No.1, in UK Chart Books etc. Week Ending 8th March 1969 - (4 Top 5, 8 Top 10) (8 NEW ENTRIES IN THE TOP 10 - A UK ALBUM CHART RECORD - BUT THIS CHART IS NOT COUNTED) 1 (NE) Four And Only The Seekers - (The Seekers) 2 (1) Diana Ross And The Supremes Join The Temptations 3 (NE) The World Of Val Doonican - (Val Doonican) 4 (NE) Early Alpert - (Herb Alpert And The Tijuana Brass) 5 (NE) The World Of Hits - (Various Artists) 6 (NE) The World Of Max Bygraves - (Max Bygraves) 7 (NE) World Of Johann Strauss - (Willi Boskovsky And The Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra) 8 (NE) The World Of Mantovani - Mantovani) 9 (2) The Sound Of Music (OST) 10 (NE) The World Of Frank Chacksfield - (Frank Chacksfield) Edited November 11, 201311 yr by zeus555
