Posted November 30, 201311 yr dIlhoWvJ-8I A duo from Brighton I believe or at least somewhere in the United Kingdom (I assume). There is a picture above of them involving mirrors for some reason. They are definitely electronic but it's so much more than that. A very clever piece of music with hooks everywhere. That said it sounds like lots of other things, if this were pure pop we might even say generic. 7/10
November 30, 201311 yr Not as good as 'Glow' but still OK. and on a purely SUPERFICIAL level they look kinda annoying.
November 30, 201311 yr I actually think I'll like this more than Glow in the long run, that was lovely but not as.. complex, not sure if that's exactly the right word. Been playing it quite a bit recently, love all the hooks.
November 30, 201311 yr I already like this more than Glow. I've considered entering both for BJSC but just thought it would make so much more sense for Eyes to do so... and then he never did! For similar reasons, I never entered DWNTWN as I wanted chris to.

I do really like them though, maybe I want to like them because of the name but I'm sure I'd like them under a different name too.
November 30, 201311 yr Author does 'protection' for bjsc songs restrict discussion for music as and when ppl discover it? i feel so out of the loop with all this bjsc stuff :(
November 30, 201311 yr does 'protection' for bjsc songs restrict discussion for music as and when ppl discover it? I think it does... I've said as much in the mod forum discussions before - there is definitely a sense of people not wanting to start a thread about a great new track in fear that someone else will discover it / it will provide additional veto points before they've had chance to confirm it.
November 30, 201311 yr Author it's a pity because you're kind of defeating the purpose of a forum. can something not be done? i often feel like bjsc sort of takes over the entire forum. on a side note who does lady iyes look like whom be famous? i can't work it out :/ http://indietronica.org/wp-content/uploads/2013/11/iyes-new-pic.jpg
November 30, 201311 yr Am I miles off by suggesting she looks a BIT like Laura Robson (female tennis player, incase you don't know)? Possibly, I'll leave now.
November 30, 201311 yr Most threads in the indie forum wouldn't have enough discussion to be counted in (the current system works on a reply basis and even the lowest level flag is 15 replies), the vetoing is far more weighted to discussion on other sites, so I think there's no reason not to start a thread, it won't do much to your chances really, particularly if a) you think it's too cheap for the contest and won't be sending it yourself or b) after it's in the competition. Or you could just RUN THE RISK anyway But it is a problem and I don't see how it'll get fixed, short of the insane idea of making everyone post a thread of their entry in a genre forum.
