January 10, 201411 yr Well done Sam Smith. It was expected, but I do love his new single and hope it's a hit. Yeah it's good but his track 'Nirvana' is brilliant, shame that didn't do well.

January 10, 201411 yr Well didn't this just unravel shockingly? I'm glad for Sam Smith as he's great, but I don't think it could've been a more predictable result on either this and the critics choice. Edited January 10, 201411 yr by Chez Walrus

Haim are only just re-releasing "Forever", their big push track when they won was "Don't Save Me". Marina's, from memory, was "Hollywood" but without the OA/OS release.

"Nirvanna" is back in the T100 on iTunes now anyway, which is a decent. Shame they didn't combine sales of the EP at the time; think they merged it with "Safe With Me" instead (it somehow 'charted' at #80-something that week). "Money on My Mind" needs to be released ASAP so that there's enough time between February and the end of May to successfully promote another pre-album single.

'Safe With Me' charted at #86 including EP sales, then 'Nirvana' charted the following week at #82 (IIRC the EP was released midweek which would explain why the 2 entries weren't simultaneous, obviously sales of the EP were stronger in the first few days then individual cherrypicks of 'Nirvana' took over the next week).
