The DMGP 2013 runner-up Simone can feel some comfort in that she was beaten to the crown by the eventual Eurovision winner, however 89 songs beat 'Stay Awake' here. And thank goodness else that poor caterpillar would be on his way back to Baku as we speak. AlunaGeorge fall under the category of 'so near yet so far' in terms of success this year, 'Attracting Flies' ends up at #87. Poor Amelia Lily hasn't even been able to throw an album release party yet but it's already over for her at #84. Lily Allen was far too busy this year selling alarm clocks for John Lewis to fully commit herself to a duet with P!nk. Their 'collab' 'True Love' is at #81.
