Some great stuff coming up, although I didn't care for much of Eric Saade's 2013 output. Coming Home was the best of it though. You turned into a mighty grower, sounded great at Eurovision!

Yeah I don't get why he went all r'n'b after saying he loves electropop all those years. He'll never top 'Popular' though so I suppose there's no point in trying!

40. Little Mix ft. Missy Elliot - How Ya Doin'?

http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll39/kimdasazelle2/littlemixHYDSMALL_zps19da3f07.png

I'm quite shocked by all the 'How Ya Doin'?' hate on here, it's not that bad is it? The single mix really turned it up a notch.

39. Ola - Tonight I'm Yours

Without a doubt the scandi king of the year was Ola, 2014 will be his year to break internationally I hope.

38. NOAH - Over byen

The first ever top 20 hit for Sandebörg at BJSC and I still love it nearly a year later.

37. Daft Punk ft. Pharrell Williams - Get Lucky

I'm so annoyed this lost out to 'Blurred Lines' in the EOY but what a year for Pharrell Williams. Who knew he'd be the most relevant artist of 2013 this time last year?

A little generic for Annie but catchy all the same.

One of the highlights of MF 2013, though it was a good job he lost out in andra chansen, else YOHIO would've gone to Malmö... :puke2:

44. Eric Saade - Coming Home

3 absolute CUTIES in one *.* All amazing songs too <3

Still not that keen on 'How Ya Doin'?' at all. :( Definitely their weakest single imo.

27. One Direction - Kiss You

Now even though this is probably my favourite single of theirs, because it was also in last year's EOY countdown, it's not as high as it otherwise would've been.

26. Stockholm Syndrome - Karma

Was 4 piece Love Generation, then 3 piece Love Generation, then 3 piece Stockholm Syndrome, now 2 piece Stockholm Syndrome.

Here's hoping Janet can win over Sweden 2nd time around, still a injustice she flopped over State Of Drama and bloody RAVAILLACZ!

21. Army Of Lovers - Rockin' The Ride

The performance of the year, why Sweden didn't fall head over heels in love with this hot mess I'll never know.

20. Katy Perry - Unconditionally

http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll39/kimdasazelle2/unconditionallySMALL_zps84fd144d.png

Onto the home stretch now and kicking off the top 20 is the queen of the album chart Katy Perry. The second single from the hugely successful 'Prism' has ended up quite the flop in terms of a Katy Perry single. I haven't a clue why, as it's shot straight into my top 5 KP singles. Flop or not it's still such a beautiful song and her acoustic performances of it have been stunning.

19. Rihanna ft. Mikky Ekko - Stay

http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll39/kimdasazelle2/19stay_zps70b1be21.png

As with 'Kiss You', this also featured in my 2012 EOY chart so suffers a little here this year. 'Stay' is a song that really shouldn't work for Rihanna but it so clearly does. Her vocals gel really well with Mikky's and I love the simple production. As much as I love club Rihanna, her ballads are spot on.

Now I was never a HUGE fan of the first line-up of Sugababes, ('Promises' & 'Run For Cover' aside) so it came as a great shock to me when I heard 'Flatline'. An utterly brilliant song with terrific vocals, in fact this is the first time I've liked Siobhan's voice. Release that album this year girls, I'm so ready for it.

17. Rihanna - What Now

http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll39/kimdasazelle2/whatnowSMALL_zps6a3edcf7.png

The highest entry for Rihanna this year comes courtesy of her latest single, 'What Now'. An early favourite of mine from her 2012 album 'Unapologetic' I fell even more in love with it after seeing her on her Diamonds World Tour in Birmingham back in July. A real shame this sort of flopped as it's by far and away one of her best. OK so 2013 wasn't exactly a golden year for Rihanna but just WAIT. She'll be back.

16. Jessie Ware - Imagine It Was Us

http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll39/kimdasazelle2/jwareiiwuSMALL_zpsafaaefe4.png

This is the sort of stuff we should be sending to Eurovision! Released as the lead single to the re-release of her flawless debut album 'Devotion', 'Imagine It Was Us' was like the cherry on top of the perfect cake. An effortlessly cool pop song which criminally flopped upon release in the UK. I'm super excited for her follow up album, hopefully released this year.

15. Icona Pop - All Night

http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll39/kimdasazelle2/iconapopallnightSMALL_zps6b5c539e.png

I'm surprised by how long this song spent in my personal chart last year, an impressive 20 weeks. So in spite of it not being a definite highlight of mine from the album, I feel it deserves its placing here. I do LOVE the song, a fantastic example of what Icona Pop do best, unashamed Swedish pop. Super excited to see them on tour with Katy Perry next year!

The winner of the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest and my 3rd favourite of the contest last year. It was clear from quite early on that 'Only Teardrops' was the song to beat and, rather luckily for the caterpillar, not even Azerbaijan could. Her debut album as I've already mentioned, is quite fabulous. SUPER excited for Eurovision now! :w00t:

13. Margaret Berger - I Feed You My Love

http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll39/kimdasazelle2/margaret-bergerSMALL_zpsc37d3fd7.jpg

Narrowly beating the champion at #13 is Norway's Margaret Berger and the amazing electropop song 'I Feed You My Love'. An early fan favourite in the contest, I was very pleased to see it finish 4th overall. Haunting, dark, perfect for Margaret. That album better reveal itself this year, it's been far too long Berger!

12. One Direction - Story Of My Life

The final appearance from the boyband du jour, One Direction. 'Story Of My Life' is by far and away the most mature the group have sounded and I love it. The vocals are spot on from everyone and the video is perfect, one of their best. OK so I'm a bit of a loon for 1D but that doesn't stop what I've said being true.

P.S. Zayn is the best, stay mad.

11. Little Mix - Move

http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll39/kimdasazelle2/littlemixmoveSMALL_zps73ab73be.png

Finishing in unlucky 11th place this year is Little Mix. No one expected this level of perfection after their debut album fell a little flat on these ears. It won't be long until Little Mix reach Girls Aloud level of adoration in this country. 'Move' is quickly becoming one of my favourite girlband singles ever. The Saturdays take note, they're coming to get you.

The official anthem of Stockholm Pride 2013 and Aquafina is the first to fall at #10. 'New Colours' spent 9 weeks in my personal chart top 10 last summer. Janet will be back wowing us all when she takes to the stage in Örnsköldsvik next month in the hope of representing Sweden at this year's Eurovision. I highly doubt she'll get past AC but good luck to her all the same.

Another Melodifestivalen hopeful is at #9, previous Eurovision winner Helena Paparizou and her 2013 single 'Save Me (This Is An SOS)'. It's a typical scandi-dancepop song, made by those sirens. For me Helena has some cracking singles in her discography, including 'Baby It's Over', 'Mambo!' and 'My Number One'. Hopefully with her MF appearance there'll be a full length English studio album coming!
