I think Beyoncé will have physicals from Dec 21st, so it won't affect this weeks sales that much.

Wow at Sam Bailey even being way behind where 'Cannonball' was at this stage....even taking into account she might get a slightly higher % of her sales on physicals than they did, 200k is looking pretty unlikely.

Robbie set to land the Xmas #1 album followed by Beyonce, Gary Barlow, One Direction, Olly Murs and Leona Lewis. Double Buble at the bottom of the 10.

Who says they're possibly not gonna clear 100k this week? They did it with ease the past 2 weeks and I don't see why they'll decrease this week with Xmas on the horizon.

Maybe Beyonce could catch Robbie if a lot of parents rush out to buy her CD on Friday and Saturday. Plus her fans will probably want the actual CD too. It'd be phenomenal if Beyonce managed to bag an Xmas #1 album. Probably won't happen though.

I am getting so sick of the lazy covers. Sound of The Underground was the only worthy Christmas Number 1 winner's song.

 

At the same time, I really don't want classic rock from 20 years to get it either. I just want it to be a genuine battle of the best and most popular song. Not one that people buy with not much interest in actually listening to it.

I get the feeling Sam's track is more for the older market, than the young, that's probably why the single is not really flying so much, without been ageist.

Last year no. 4 sold 118k, if 1D will sell 118k, they will have 600k, and Emeli will be around 670, it will be extremely hard to catch Emeli by end of the year, unless this year no.4 will sell more than last, which isn't impossible.
