Coming to ~slay~ all other charts. I will be following yours very closely as I think we will share quite a few songs like last year.

Can't decide what might be your top song but I have a few possible contenders in my mind! :D

Lovely top 2 albums, Seven. Particularly great highlights for them too. 4 albums in common in the top 10, that's great. :D

I should like Savages really (or want to like them) but nothing that I've listened to has impressed me aside from maybe Husbands. :(

I liked The Bones of What You Believe, but was comparatively disappointed given how good all the singles were. Science/Visions was probably my favorite album track, but the singles are still the highlights (Lies less so admittedly).

Completely agree with your highlights for Settle though, glad to see someone else not saying Confess To Me is a highlight!

Great album chart.

I own and love these:

CHVRCHES "The Bones of What You Believe"

Disclosure "Settle"

James Blake "Overgrown"

Daft Punk "Random Access Memories" (<< though this is pretty/disappointing patchy in places)

Savages "Silence Yourself"

Everything Everything "Arc"

HAIM "Days Are Gone"

Kanye West "Yeezus"

Jagwar Ma "Howlin'"

Vampire Weekend "Modern Vampires of the City"

Autre Ne Veut "Anxiety"

Foals "Holy Fire"

FLAWLESS taste. Sad that there is no place for Public Service Broadcasting, Arcade Fire, Arctic Monkeys, London Grammar, Laura Mvula, Sigur Rós and Villagers though. :(

Some excellent albums there, thought not really a fan of CHVRCHES one. Only a few I've not heard, wasn't quite sure if I'd like a whole ANV or Haim album. Great to see James Blake so high.

How's That

~comeonletsjack~ yep, the eccentric summer house smash kicks off my singles countdown for 2013. Following that we have the big highlight from Pet Shop Boys' album "Electric", a jazzy toe-tapping effort from the ever-underrated Jamie N Commons, a former BJSC potential from Washed Out (aside a lovely multi-coloured wildlife music video), and a the seductive and jittery 'How's That', from FKA twigs' 'EP2'

Savages' electrifying "Shut Up" is their first of 2 appearances on here, same for London Grammar with their top 20 UK hit "Strong". Yelle's "L'amour Parfait" remains of the year's most underrated BJSC entries, with its hypnotic vocal amongst its sharp electro/trap synths. Little Mix pull out a surprise R&B pop delight 'Move', with at #92 a collab between Baauer and Just Blaze, with their trap banger 'Higher'

Dutch Uncles' Record Store Day exclusive track 'Slave to the Atypical Rhythm' (a cover of Grace Jones' "Slave to the Rhythm") peaked at #20 on my chart back in June, but its smooth vibe sustained well enough through the year to make it to #89, ahead of Kisses' indie-pop ditty 'The Hardest Part'. Also we have Jagwar Ma's first of 2 appearances (Man I Need), the dark 'Girl Like Me', and Two Door Cinema Club's infectious top 40 hit 'Changing of the Seasons'

unappreciated BJSC entries Dumb Disco Ideas and Mirror Maru land at #84 and #83 respectively, above M.I.A.'s most impressive single since 2012's Bad Girls. CHVRCHES' "Tether" was a big highlight from their debut album, and M83 brings some great production to The Killers' "Shot At the Night", which I easily preferred over their 2012 comeback single "Runaways"
