Where are people getting this idea there's a rapper in the pipeline? Or just making conversation?

I want a Little Mix collaboration or something. Just stop with the rappers. And if Not Giving Up is going to be the single, I wouldn't mind some Rochessa ad-libs on the last chorus.

Hey Team Sats!

 

Hope you're having a lovely weekend so far! I'm deep in rehearsals for Splash as we speak. I'm really nervous but excited at the same time! It's going to be a challenge. My heat isn't this week but the week after - 2 of us will be making it through to the semi-finals so please wish me luck! I injured my toe during training but it's feeling better so I'm staying positive.

 

All us girls met up this week to support Mollie who was taking part on The Cube - it was great fun! We'll let you know when the episode airs so you can see just how Mollie handles being put to the rest.

 

In the meantime, we're planning lots of things for the next single, video and tour, for which all will be revealed soon!

I think "next single" pretty much says it's gonna be from LFTW. They'd be hyping it up more if it were a brand new song.

but with the album only / Aaron tweeting the lyrics and saying fingers at the ready it seems like it's the next single.

 

They did. They said they chose which song from the album was going to be the next single.

 

And they also said once "Can you guess which one it is?" or something along these lines.

 

So, no, it's not brand new material.

At this point I'm wondering if they are waiting for Frankie to release this. They might be waiting for her to drop the baby weight in order to shoot the video and then by the time it's release week she'll be ready for promo and all that? I'd rather wait a couple extra weeks for news if it means Frankie will be back at it with them.

I'm not trying to be rude, but the last picture I saw of Frankie, she wasn't in a hurry to lose her pregnancy weight (which is understandable, obviously!!). I doubt she will make it for the video if it's filmed in February.

I understand that that's how such a cut-throat industry works, but it it shouldn't make a difference if someone is carrying a few extra pounds in a music video, especially when they've just given birth. Though of course it should be about Frankie feeling comfortable in her own skin - I'm sure she wouldn't want to have the Daily Mail publicly attacking her for not being a stick.

It does seem to be taking her a bit longer than it took Rochelle and Una (I understand they handled their pregnancies unusually well and stayed active throughout which made it easier) but in the flip they just posted she looks quite a bit better than she did for the Strictly and TOTP performances. Unfortunately I don't ever see Frankie being as confident as she used to be because even before the pregnancy she was struggling with that.

The thing is, though, is that they don't need Frankie back to 100% to announce what the song is and when it's released. -_- We're essentially waiting on Frankie (if that's what the delay is) just to announce the song so we can wait 6 - 8 weeks on it being released anyway!

 

They can make a music video without featuring the girls, or they can have just close up shots of Frankie, or have them all wearing coats and jackets if she isn't comfortable. I thought she looked good when she returned but obviously you can tell she'd just had a baby. I'd imagine the fact she's always been regarded as the "fittest" from the group probably puts extra pressure on her to lose the weight.

Not the girls, the medias and stuff. I think I remember an interview of a flip where Una talks about it and says that she has always been really really thin and people just want to say something about her weight or whatever.
