Yeah it's probably for an EP bundle or something, although don't they already have a remix on the album?

Unless they're now substituting original B-sides with remixes. :(
Cahill are one of the better pop remixers. I loved their Leona remix earlier this year. And Radio 1's dance anthems shows play their remixes quite a bit which is a good sign.
Why are we fretting about a remix  Most if not ALL singles have had a remix EP, alongside the standard b-side. :P There is a remix on the album but you can't make an EP from one song

We will probably have three or four remixes for the EP bundle, then a b-side for the CD and single bundle.

I don't actually mind if they remix the single slightly for a 'radio edit' maybe with some adlibs on the final chorus, nothing too major like the One Shot single mix on Headlines!

How high did Disco love and What About Us get in pre-orders before release?
Disco Love never made it top 100. It was #110 or something. What About us got to #42 - #20 range by the time it was released.

What About Us and all the singles prior were EP pre-orders so were on the album chart. That's also a factor why they managed to get to #1 on the iTunes Album Charts (even 30 Days was #1 for a while!)

Disco Love was the first single track pre-order. Not sure whether they will do that with NGU? I guess they could and then just unlock the album version on release day also, the only thing is having three 'album version' tracks, a single track plus four remixes may hold back the highest version reaching #1 :/

So a Vamps style release you mean

Glad they are going with Cahill! I love their remixes of Missing You and Don't Hold Your Breath. The JRMX Remix is decent but they could do better.
Don't you think the Cahill Remixes are very basic and lacking though?

I hope the girls paid a visit to The Alias for a b-side and an extra remix for Not Giving Up.

Anyway, it's becoming more clear this release is probably just to get another top 5-10 and get more gigs during Spring and Summer. They need a recent hit to persuade these people to book them and prove they are still relevant.

I hope they won't f*ck up the release. Do it properly, girls!

There is no reason why this wouldn't be a decent enough sized hit for them, it all depends on how it's handled. Fingers crossed the video is good, for a start.
We can atleast expect the usual Daybreak, This Morning with Alan Carr too since he's returning in March.

Well, judging by how hard they are trying to hype this up, I have a feeling they will be giving it their all this time around.

EDIT: They'll have to announce the single by this Thursday because that's when Cosmopolitan hits newsstands.

They don't usually hype up single announcements this much. Even when we all know that it's going to be Not Giving Up they're still trying to keep it under wraps and build excitement. They've been doing this whole "we know the next single but can't tell you what it is" thing for months.
It would be good if they could do two decent sized promo slots like dancing on Ice / the voice and then Allen Carr later in the week (or the other way round?) with the usual daybreak / this morning slots dotted around.
