You also get people who have very short maternity leave. I took just over two months because I was so bored, I actually was still working when I popped. Although, like Frankie I continued part-time and am still part-time. I think it's unreasonable to be full time so soon after giving birth. I also know other people who returned to work after a few weeks part-time, and someone full-time after 4 months.

 

It's purely discretion about your personal feelings/whether you can cope etc.

First of all Frankie had to take time off before the birth due to health reasons, reasons that still might be in play now. Also my sister took a year off for maternity leave (last 3 months half pay) for her first child and has only worked part time until recently. She also had another 9 months maternity for her second child in this time. All this and she excels at her job.

This is actually quite interesting to me because it is totally different here. Employers are not nearly as giving when it comes to pregnancy leave.

 

Anyway, I think the fact that Una and Rochelle got back into the swing of things so quickly is making this harder to swallow. I just assumed the same would happen for Frankie. But I suppose everyone's different. Maybe she has post-partum or something?

If she had post partum the last thing she would wanna do is be with her baby. I think she just want a break with her kid :)

Jesus Christ. Surely it's not hard just to say something like "stay tuned for our announcement of our NEXT SINGLE in next weeks mailer..."? Even if they just announce what the bloody thing is, this wait is excruciating.

I'm starting to think I might have gotten everyone's hopes up by pointing out 'album only' thing and suggesting a new single was on the way. I would have thought that someone making the effort to changed up he iTunes would be to make way for some kind of announcement.
I can't think of any other reason why they'd make it Album Only. It's definitely getting a single release, and soon I'd imagine. I'm sure we'll here something in early January.

They've probably changed their minds knowing The Sats. They've decided to release Somebody Else's Life.

Seriously, what would the POINT be in announcing it now? No-one will care because it's Christmas time and the news will get buried. They're best waiting a week or two to announce it. They've got their own Xmas plans, which are more important than announcing a bloody single. :lol:

I keep reading this and don't understand the logic in it.

 

It's just announcing a single. It's not supposed to be massive news or anything.

If they announce the single, it will get drowned out which is bad. This is so because the general announcement usually gives notice to the single and if there isn't, you know

You could say the same about the tour but they've still put a meet and greet competition on today :lol:
