In my dreams it feels like it should be the SATURDAYS WORLD TOUR. USA, Germany, NZ, Hungary, Ireland, UK.

In reality it will be the '30 Days Theater tour' going to six <2000 capacity theaters across England.

I cannot remember who came up with the idea of the 30 days tour which has a matching reality TV show to go with it, loved that idea :')

But yes I would love a world tour but I don't think the fanbase is big enough for that. Widespread, yes, but not big enough :(

It is rather odd to see that their fanbase is still growing 5 years on really. Most artists reach the highlight their popularity pretty quickly and either keeping it lose it. I think it's strange that they've always had a sort of niche fanbase that's been growing slowly since day One.

It is and can totally relate as I wasn't a huge fan at the start but over the last year since What About Us etc, I've really started to love them!

Haha that was me.

We all know the next single is going to be Rochelle featuring The Saturdays (one upping Nicole) and shall be called The Rumours Are True.

HAHAHAHAHA!

Fanbase is growing but, with the exception of Headlines!, their album sales are declining. :P

Hopefully if the fanbase continues to grow, the album sales will go up! (me being optimistic)

I really think they should go for the traditional post-album release for this single. I guess they want a top ten guaranteed but I would have thought that considering Ego, Higher and Issues are amongst their biggest hits (airplay wise, sales wise and popularity with fans) they would have released Not Giving Up in the same way as them. Why hold the song back for months and then have it peak and plummet when they could just go for the traditional release and have it climb, stick around for a while, peak, stick around for a while and then fall? I'd rather they had a #11 peaking song that was in the charts for more than six weeks and sell around 200K than have another #5 single that is out of the top 40 in a few weeks and sells about 110K.
I can't help but feel they would struggle with the traditional post album single release strategy in this day and age, so if they're doing it that way it may work to their advantage.
But their chart history shows their post-album hits are their biggest (bar What About Us). Maybe Not Giving Up will be another exception and be as big as What About Us was. I hope so, it's one of my favourite songs ever by them!

It's annoying because we haven't had a post album single released since 'Higher' in autumn 2010 which was over three years ago.

Pre-album releases get really dragged out and then the release is only "active" for a few weeks then the song is gone forever. Post album releases are much more interesting to follow.

I think Not Giving Up is my favourite song since Disco Love TBH but Disco Love was my favourite since Higher. I think NGU is gonna be a biggie when it's released. If it is anyway.

The more I listen to it the more I get the feeling it won't be. I really hope I am wrong!

guys I think a lot of you are over-estimating NGU. Tbh I don't see it peaking much higher than Gentleman and we'd be lucky for it to sell half as much as their last post album single.
It could end up doing a 'People Like Us'. That was one of Kelly Clarksons best songs (imo) and yet it didn't even go top 100 because it was getting shit airplay. :o
I've heard nothing but positive comments about Not Giving Up from the people on this forum, people on other forums, people on Twitter, people on YouTube, people on Facebook, and even the critics themselves. Almost every album review I've read praises Not Giving Up. Not to mention it was the only album track to enter the Top 200 on iTunes. I think that's proof enough that it will be well received as a single. The hard part will be getting it enough exposure so that the general public takes notice.

I agree that at the least, it would be a minor hit.
I'm not sure I'd put the song up there with their best (much as I do love it), but it is certainly the only shot they have on this album at getting a decent sized hit if they're gonna release anything.

I'd laugh if this proved everyone wrong and became a 300,000 seller for them
