They really need to get something to the Radio and release it asap while sales are so low. So low that Sats fans could easily get one of their singles into the top ten at the moment. (which isn't necessarily a good thing, but ensures longer airplay). If Gentleman had been released last week, it would have charted at number #5 with its first week sales. (and I'm assuming that was bought 75% by the Saturdays fans who would buy any Saturdays song)

The song is good enough to where it deserves at least a Silver certification. But we'll see what happens. They keep saying 2014 is going to be a big year for them so I hope they have something up their sleeves.
I'm sure it will do fantastic IF IT IS NOT GIVING UP!! They need a huge hit to shift the album and this song really seems to be it!! What day is the mailer due?

Saturday, normally between 12 and 1 pm :)

That is Sooooo long away :( I hope we hear something before then... then. :kink:

So Aaron basically confirmed on Twitter this is the next single (and the Tweet got deleted probably because he wasn't allowed to say anything ).

BRING IT ON!!

In not as many words as you said, yes :heehee: :yahoo: (Wait and you'll see it be Don't Let Me Dance Alone) :kink:

It does worry me that Pixie Lott's single is scheduled for release the week after The Sats' rumoured release date. Video has been shot and is online. Single pre-order is live on iTunes. Some radio stations already starting to play it. I know she's making a comeback after a couple of years of no releases, but even so. :/
I agree they need to announce something very soon, to build up momentum. I don't know what's holding them back. They made NGU 'album-only' ages ago now, I get the feeling that they were about to announce something but have been held back. I'm not worried about Pixie Lott as competition though, if they can sneak into the top 10 I'll be happy enough.
I'm starting to think this has been scrapped. By the time it's released it'll be five/six months after Disco Love.
If/when it does get a release, I really hope Radio 1 support it. If it can get onto the A list, that would be great. I do think Not Giving Up would be there most 'Radio 1' single since What About Us.
I get the feeling they may try to receate What About Us with this release. Summery feel good dance song which worked really well last year.
I wonder if they're taking a while because the rapper they've rented has to be edited into the song.

How freaking hilarious would that be, though?

It's funny cause if it is NGU, it dont need a rapper :)
If it is 'Not Giving Up', I hope they remove the album only tag and give us a proper post-album release. Although it will peak lower, it will seller more and it more exciting to follow in the chart. Plus, if they are getting a rent-a-rapper, they'll have a 'release week' boost into the top 10 (hopefully) anyway.
have they confirmed it's a single from the album and not a brand new song?

They haven't :(

but with the album only / Aaron tweeting the lyrics and saying fingers at the ready it seems like it's the next single.

Let's start guessing which rapper... I'm thinking either: Tinie Tempah, Tinchy Stryder or Wretch 32 or 69 whatever the number is ;)! Haha
